Two questions

I tried hobbying a few years ago. After getting ripped off twice I didn't think about trying again until I found TER. Now I'm taking my time working up to trying this again. I have a couple of questions, though.

1. Has anyone here run into a scam where someone takes your work number (to confirm), then use this against you in a scam?  Or some other problem that I can't even think of.

2. When I search the Los Angeles listing, I sometimes get providers that are in other states, and the second location is Los Angeles. But the contact numbers are not in California. Doesn't this add an extra problem. Something about crossing state lines.

(1) I have never as of yet heard of a scam, using your work phone number against you.  (2) Many ladies travel, also many ladies will have a homebase like LA and a second location maybe Las Vegas .... in any case crossing state lines has nothing to do with anything.  Seek an indie provider which is well reviewed and enjoy ....

You should not give a provider any information on you until you have read all reviews on the provider, and NOT the reviews that the provider posts unless the post is to a review database that the provider cannot manipulate.  The providers who have consistently strong reviews are the best bets to protect any contact info that you give them and not rip you off.  I learned all of this the hard way and am still learning how to best do provider research, even with information availabvle on many providers.
