you otherwise might be getting.

It's a bummer about the wife thinking it's prickly, but you can't upset the homefires.

You might claim that you got a rash and your doctor prescribed trimming in order to cut down on the bacteria down there.

In fact, I used to get jock itch until I started to trim, and then it went away; so it is medically valid.

Any provider who isn't interested in seeing you because of your pubic hair isn't really worth seeing.  Be clean-that means showering when you get there, not two or three hours prior, be respectful and bring an envelope full of cash.  In well over 20 years of P4P the topic of male crotch grooming has not come up even once with any of the women I see.

I'm quite certain that the ladies all have their preferences but you are a paying customer, not a Husband, BF or SO.

Funny what you think about when you're a newb but I'm wondering if this is a concern to ladies.  My SO doesn't like it when I trim up because it's "too prickly" (no pun).  Since she's told me she doesn't like it I don't do it anymore.  If I trim up to hobby that's going to set off a red flag.  So I'm not going to.  Is this something a provider may ban me for?

I have not yet seen a provider that had an issue with a non-trimmed pubic area, and I doubt that would ever be an issue for a lady here.

I think you need a lesson in trimming the pubes.  I know there are a lot of ways to do it, but I think for a guy you can trim it back without getting to the prickly point.  Let's say your pubes are about 2 inches long, trim them back to under an inch or so.  They will still be soft and supple yet not a forest.  I do that and the same with my underarm hair.  No razor stubble, just maybe a half inch of hair left.  I trim the underarm hair because it cuts down on the bacteria that causes odor.  Plus it looks better.

It seems like women tend do trim it down to the skin in various places but I don't think most guys need to do that.

Just remember to be clean. I hold a special place in my provider heart for gentlemen who shower right before. I spend over an hour getting ready for a date. A 5-10 min shower right before is the least they can do.
