The regional boards are the only forums to place ads.

However, there is nothing available for AK.  Vancouver or Seattle would seem to be the closest to you.  Other than those, you would have to use the "Other cities" board.

Is there a spot somewhere to advertise on this site?

Please let me know as I have never been able to locate an advertisement section.
