I followed everyone's advice and bought a tracfone (see previous discussion 4 pages ago).  But when I dial #82 then xxx-xxx-xxxx  I get a message that says I have dialed an invalid number, please hang up and dial again.

How come everyone else seems to not have this problem, and I am devoting huge energy to this and can't get to first base?  I lost another provider when I told her by email, I was having trouble learning how to unblock my calls.

when I dial xxx-xxx-xxxx the call goes through just fine.  But that probably doesn't unblock the call.

I need help, and pretty soon, too, because I will be in a big city this weekend.
