How do I get a TER number?  And how exactly do I have a client post a review of me?  Do I just give them my user name on here?  Not sure how it works
Elise

You will be assigned an ID# when the first review is posted.  To get a review, you may have to ask the client if he is a member, and if so, will he write a review of his time with you.  You would need to give him your handle on TER.  Once you get a review, ask admin to link it to your handle.  That way, any time you post something, the link is under your name, making it easier for other guys to find you.  You can also request limited VIP at that time which will allow you to see the juicy details of your review.

If you have any other questions, I am the host of the newbie board, feel free to ask me in a PM, or post it on the forum.

Swim

Thank you so much for the info.  Also, by "handle" do you mean username?

EliseBlack.  That is the name guys will look for.  I suggestbyounstart posting on your regional board.  Read the self help center, it will give you a lot of very useful and helpful information.

...but she posts under "DDDbabe."  This is not an alias, it's her handle.

name. So if you search "Lina Pavlova" ter profile will come up but not individual posts.

When I posted, "swim has given you correct info," it was about telling her the first reviewer sets the profile and that after the first review comes she should ask it to be linked with the handle. But he was incorrect on telling her that her reviewer needs her "handle." The reviewer needs her provider name, not her TER username.

that you do need an internet presense to be reviewed here. The first client to review you will have to put a link to your personal website or an ad on an ad mall (such as eros, bp, or one of the verification sites like p411), but it can't be a link to an ad on a site that also has reviews. TER does not allow that.

I would also recommend you read the self help center which can be found at the top of the main newbie page, near the life preserver, and read back several pages on this newbie board, as many topics come up repeatedly.
Welcome, good luck, and happy holidays!
