I am relatively new to this so attempting to get some sage advice from some of the more wisened members here.

Had finished a session and was on my way home.  Began thinking about how I like to DATY.  Then began thinking what if she was on her monthly at the time I was DATYing.  Should I expect that I be made aware of it at some time prior so I can reschedule?  What should I do if I find out during the session but she never told me?  Is this a person you would see again if the situation in my second question ever arose?

If this has been discussed in past, point me to a link.  I attempted a search on a few key terms but nothing came up, but that was on the Atlanta board, did not go into Gen Discuss or Newbs boards.

Thanks for your responses.

Either they will not entertain while on their period, or restrict activities that they will do.  I think it's a real rare situation to have what you describe happen.  However, if it did happen, I prob would not see her again.

I don't think he meant that he thought the girl he just saw was on her period; I think he meant if she was on it the next time would she say anything.

Many girls take the pill and skip the placebo pills that cause you to have your period. You can go months without having one.

For those that don't, many only have 1 or 2 days that are heavy where it would really be an issue. Otherwise, there are all kinds of methods providers use so that you would never know she was on her period in the first place (don't bother researching it... remain gleefully ignorant). If you can't tell, then it shouldn't matter one way or the other.

If a provider feels that an unexpected period will interfere with a session, she will likely either cancel the session altogether (depending on what he knows about his preferences from, say, a Preferred411 profile or from a previous encounter) or let the guy know "Aunt Flo is in town" (or just "My period started") and see if he wants to cancel. Many times they don't and you don't talk about "menus" or activities one way or another... just "Aunt Flo is here... yay or nay?"

Sometimes "Aunt Flo" shows up when you are in the bathroom "freshening up" at the client's outcall location. You just gotta go "uh-oh" and let the guy know. Most guys are happy with an offer of a second pop and bonus time in lieu of the unexpected unavailable daty if they are into that.

No experienced/quality girl is going to just act like nothing's different and think you are okay "riding the red river" or earning your "red wings." Some guys don't care, but the vast majority do and we know that.

well some sp just dont care but i would hate it if i went down a got a sepecial surprise from it just this year i almost got the suprise when i saw 2 girls in one day and they were both on it but lucky i caught it before diving in and whats worse is that they didnt even try to warn me

Did you advise her that she could have given you a heads up.

This topic is certainly worthy of deeper discussion. Here are a couple of my thoughts.

A pro will cancel if her period is likely to interfere with a session. The problem is, how can she know for sure until it really starts? No one's period is precisely predictable, so do not expect a provider to block a week or so off her schedule every month just in case. Hell, even with that, she might be off in her prediction. Always assume with any appointment that it could be cancelled at the last minute because her period has started. Do not expect her to block off days well in advance "just in case."

The sex act itself is a well-known period-starter. If you pull out bloody, do not assume that she even knows about it yet.

Many women spot a bit without any relationship to their actual period. Just chalk this up as something that comes with the territory.

to avoid that potentially embarrasing session.  It seems that most of the ladies have a pretty good idea when Aunt Flo is coming (many seem to be quite regular with this).

If you look at gals who post on their websites that "vacation" time is here..that is Aunt Flo.  There are some who will post on the regional board that they are on vacation as well.

But then again, you have many who clearly don't know when that time is arriving, and then it could be a surprise event.  And of course you have the gals who will just work right through that time, using sponges, et al to thwart Mother Nature.

Fortunately, I have yet to encounter that.

....go get a NATURAL sea sponge at Whole Foods - the size of an egg - boil it for 30 seconds (or really HOT water for a minute) and stick it up as far as you can go. I do it all the time and no one knows any better. I got this advice from a veteran Provider when I got started. It totally works! If you are freaked you can get it out - then tie a short string to it so you can get it out easier. Cheers!
