I'm confused?! You have awesome reviews while commanding $600 an hour. Why do you need a travel partner? If you see 3 gentlemen a day, you will make out like a bandit (financially).

Are you afraid to travel alone? You are old enough to drink, drive, fight for our country and vote. Not to mention comfortable entertaining men for money. D.C. is competitive and many ladies frequent the area on a weekly basis. Just book a room at a hotel that is half off your starting rate. You'll be fine.

I had a girlfriend say she would travel with me then she flaked. I made it all the way to DC from california anyways bc my hotel and ticket was already booked. I'll only stay in upscale hotels, so I was upset to find that all the guys who inquired ended up either not giving me legit screening info or wanted weekend days only (well I'm only here we'd-fri) I guess DC guys are very busy during the week ! Anyways- I tried messaging one provider who looked cool and popular- I met her today at a bar and to my disappointment  she was basically on speed or something weird- she looked about 52 years old- then she ordered straight vodka and it was like 1pm- umm who does that?? Anyways she didn't get carded (obviously)and I did (I am 24) so I just said screw it to the drink bc I didn't bother bringing my ID anyways bc I never get carded at hotel bars so i was shocked when the waitress carded me. Either way it was too early to drink... So I asked her  Let's split a room or do doubles or something! She freaks out that I won't drink and basically gets all jittery and so I was over it and thanked her for meeting me but wow what a waste of time...! How the heck can I find a NORMAL drug free provider who can share a darn room with me when I travel?? Obviously I made the wrong choice with the lady I called.  I want to continue to travel outside cali but I can't handle doing it all alone :..(

That sucks about the potential clients. Not from DC so I can't offer an explanation as to why the guys were  like that.  However, I'm a little surprised that you would schedule a trip like that without having some appts pre-booked to at least cover your expenses.  I guess you have your reasons.  Just a question about the DC provider you met, were her rates in line with yours?  Why she reacted like she did is anyone's guess, but it was probably better for you, she sounds like somewhat of a whacko anyway.

How to find someone to travel with might be difficult, I don't know how many providers you are friends with.  The only suggestion I can make right now is to put a post on the ISO board about what you would like to do.  You might also post it on your regional board, but it might get moved to the ISO board by admin.  Give as much info as you can, like where you would like to go in particular.  You might also mention you would like someone whose rates are comparable to yours.

Aw thanks for the reply- well as for "pre booking" of course I did that- I put my ad up on Eros guide 2 full weeks before I even headed out to dc. I had tons of inquiries- I did screen about 8-10 people total- and about another 15 or so didn't have valid references (either the girl wasn't available to reply- or was not active anymore which I won't even consider as a valid reference for safety reasons) I basically realized I should be here on a weekend - and I also realized the woman I contacted was a good 20 years older than me, she charges much less than me, and before she went all weird she said " young girls like you don't do well in DC- these guys want older women who know what they are doing- and you need to lower your rates" I think she just wanted the tall hot blonde out of town- and besides, a  providers rate is up to what they are comfortable with. Don't you agree? I'm a low volume kind of gal and I don't like seeing more than 1-2 people a day a few times a week at max. I have a regular job and this is my part time thing- so I want to enjoy it and have fun. It's just hard finding a legit girl to team up with who has a different look than me so we don't screw up each others biz. I don't know what an ISO board is. Can you let me
Know? I want to keep positive about touring but I'm feeling kinda discouraged.

Just because I got carded and couldn't drink?? LoL... If she had done her homework and saw I have months and months of reviews she would have known otherwise- but the bottom line is I guess I'll just bring my pooch next time I travel to cure the lonely blues.. Because it does seem like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack to find the right girl to travel with. I am on p-411 and date check, and had a few inquiries on both- however I only have basic placement on those sites. Do you recommet a top 10 placement? I didn't invest on those sites bc I just use them as a way to screen, and just recently signed up to both less than a month ago- Cityvibe and Eros are my only solid $ makers in California and I do great there. Plus I have my own penthouse in the Oc- so my rent covers my incall ! 😄 in any case- thank you all for the time and replies. I leave DC today to head to Baltimore and hopefully I'll have better luck there - then back to ☀☀☀☀California ☀☀☀☀

It's your business, and you should charge whatever you want.

However, the market reality in DC is that it's highly competitive. We are blessed to have a veritable conga line of high-quality providers parading through the city on a weekly basis. You can get top-notch service in the 3-400/hr range, and your rates are well above that.  

When the market speaks to you, listen.

Unfortunately, that's the nature of touring.  I try to only book appointments when I know I can make it, and if I can't make it, I always try to compensate the provider for her time and commitment.  I realize it's a lot of commitment to fly out and stay in a hotel, and it sucks when plans fall through, because you are still on the hook for all the expenses.

Pre-booking helps, but really it's hard to hedge out this risk.  And hobbyists and clients that can pay your $600/hour rate are going to be busy people by nature, so it's reasonable to think that they might have to change or cancel at last minute.

The economy also doesn't help, with more clients than usual being more gunshy in spending money than they did in the past when income was more disposable and flowed more freely.

All I can say is that perhaps you can try by contact other providers who have served as references to see if the guy has a history of canceling.

Or check out his TER reviews and email/contact the other providers.

Even if I am traveling with another companion who is a friend and double's partner, i would never imagine to actually share accommodations, unless its a pleasure trip.

There is certain standard that is expected from high caliber companion and having another companion share the accommodation is something that could be expected from "here today gone tomorrow" girls advertising on Backpage.

Whenever you are touring any area, you really have to make several trips before you become a known quality in that region.

Thanks for the info. DDD babe. I mostly wanted a travel partner to wander around the city with- keep each other company- and do doubles with if the chance came up. I totally see how it can end in drama though. My old partner in crime has a young child so she keeps flaking on me and I can't even get mad - I just expect it now. The hotel price isn't a HUGE concern- but when you're paying 250-500 a night is can get pricey. When the end of the tour comes and you realize you made x amount and 30 percent of the X amount is travel and accommodation costs, when I had her we would split upscale rooms- and schedule with each other and it always worked, I just hoped to find that kind of friendship again I guess. It's fine though- I'm getting my dog one of those service passes so he can travel with me. It's apparently only 400 dollars a year!!!
Ps I messaged you on 411 the other day asking about a client you okayed. Unless there's a different "ddd babe " on p411. I think it was you though.

What if one of you isn't feeling well? Or get bookings at the same time? Or one of you books more than the other? It's too much of a hassle trying to coordinate two schedules. Better to just get your own :)

i don't know the DC market though if you check ads on the DC ad board you might get an idea.  You are young & hot...  if your performance is equal you should be able to charge accordingly.  (I find in the youngest girls...  not ladies...  the hottest pictures bring in a flood of business BUT they take advantage to give lesser service.  There are exceptions...  and those beauties can command the higher rate.)

There is no way to know if your price point is good or not & may take some time to break in to this market.  
I don't like providers sharing rooms...  unless they work from one and sleep in the other...   NO girls hiding in the bathroom!

I like to travel with a partner because I had one before but she can't travel anymore. It's more about having someone "there" with me. It feels more fun and safer in a sense to have someone there. After reading all the advice I just figure I'll stay in California because business is great for me here. Thanks for the info- I do appreciate your time! :-D
