I am newbie on TER.  I registered as a provider.  Call me a dumdum but I CANNOT figure out how to post an ad on here.  Please help.  For the love of all that is holy.

Hi Nina, in order to post an ad on TER you must have some kind of internet presence. Your TER ad has to link to another internet source. It can be an ad on an escort ad mall, such as cityvibe, myproviderguide and others. It can be a to a profile on a verification site like P411, or it can be a link to a personal website if you have one. However there are rules you have to follow. If you use a personal website, your website must also have a link back to TER. If it's an ad mall that site can not also have reviews.

You can post your free  TER ad once every 7 days, on your regional ad or on any regional ad board for a city you are touring to. I have linked the Provider Ad Posting Guidelines below. If you follow them you should not have problems posting an ad here.

As a new member here I highly recommend you read the Instruction Manual (first thread at the top of the page). The Provider Ad Posting Guidelines which I linked is found there, as well as a lot of other good information on TER and the hobby. If you have more questions, please come back here and ask.

Good Luck.

which is linked on this page.

Do yourself a favor and read the entire manual, not just the section on posting ads, and you'll do fine.

Come back here and ask questions if you get stuck.

By the way, when you join TER, you do not do so as either a provider or a client.   All memberships have the same features, the main difference being whether you opt to pay for the VIP.

To get a profile page (Perhaps that's what you mean by the ad.) someone has to write a review of you first.   Providers who are not even members will have a profile page by dint of the fact that someone got a review of them published here.

I replied to her saying some of the same things but my post has been in random moderation for 3 hours.🙁 So frustrating.

As for signing up as a provider, you actually can sign up as a provider. That's an option when newbies sign up for TER. There still is no visible difference, as either way you are just a basic member (or VIP member if you pay for VIP) until a provider gets a profile linked to her username.  I think this is a reason that many new providers get confused. They actually sign up as a provider, but nothing says they are a provider.
