To Tip or not to Tip. That is the question.

What percentage of hobbyists (on this site) typically tip?

Do you usually tip your regulars or a new provider?

Do you prefer to tip early in the engagement, or at the end?

Some providers do not do kissing, daty, bbbj as "rules" - so I'm curious if tipping will temporarily "bend" those rules.

BTW, I don't see providers that do not kiss, daty, or bbbj.  I don't think too many guys would say, "if you will do these things, I will give you more $."

PS I don't tip, I take gifts.

I usually do leave nice tips ($20 to $40) at the end of a session.  I usually look for 1. how the provider speaks over the phone, 2. how she greets me, 3. how acurate her photos are, 4. how well the session,  6. if she made me pop,  7. and the afterward convo. If a provider meet at least .

If a provider can meet atleast 5 of those. I'll give her a tip right before I leave out of her room.

Note: if a provder can't meet my standards on the first 3. 4-7 won;t happen therefore there is no need to tip.

I have never tipped, until last week.  I met with a provider who rocked my world.  I knew it was an experience that I would remember for a long, long time.  At the end, I tipped 25% of the envelope.  No regerets, I am glad I did, and I still think about that great experience.  The tip, from my point of view, was for the outstanding time I had that far, far exceeded my expectations.

First off, stop knocking us over. Its just plain mean. (sorry, couldn't resist!)

Regarding: Whether tipping will encourage a lady to 'bend' the rules. This is just a bad idea. Her menu is her menu. If you know going in that certain things are off the menu, then your choice is to vote with your wallet and keep looking for a lady who fits your preferences, or see her knowing her menu is limited. Don't try and push a lady to work outside of her comfort zone. Guys who do that find themselves having a difficult time getting ladies to answer the phone (because they wind up on a blacklist eventually).

On the other hand, if SHE is suggesting to you that you need to "tip" in order to receive certain services, just cut your losses and walk away before your wallet has nothing left in it but moths. You aren't tipping her, you are paying ala cart for services that presumably should be part of the GFE experience. This is what is called "upselling", and its not acceptable.

Look at it this way. Even at the lower end of the rate spectrum, you are paying $$ for an hour of a lady's time. Do you know of any $$ an hour occupation where tips are expected? I don't.

The best tip you can give a lady is a nice review, and a return visit (said on this board for about the 1000th time now).

"What percentage of hobbyists (on this site) typically tip?"

Eh, who knows, who cares?  There are literally dozens of past threads on this topic to investigate.

"Do you usually tip your regulars or a new provider?"

Neither for the most part. I tip occasionally but it is most often an non-GFE type agency girl who goes above and beyond the call of duty.

"Do you prefer to tip early in the engagement, or at the end?

If I was going to tip why on earth would I do it at the start of an appointment? A tip, such as it is, would be a reward for excellent service."

"Some providers do not do kissing, daty, bbbj as "rules" - so I'm curious if tipping will temporarily "bend" those rules"

In my experience being a good and loyal regular will ocasionaly get a few rules bent-not always. Every provider has boundaries and trying to encourage her to ignore them for a few more bucks generlly doesn't work.  I see a girl right now who is full GFE except for her CBJ. Now, she's not stupid, she knows that she could get a higher rate if she did BBBJ. She doesn't want to so I'm not going to be a dickhead and offer her an extra few bucks to try and get her to do it for me.  Other ladies over the years have allowed CIM, BBBJ, extra time, meals off the clock etc for no additional money paid during the appointment.
