If you stick with the well reviewed ladies, you greatly reduce the chances of getting into any "bad" trouble!

A lot depends on the jurisdiction.  In most, ads alone do not constitute solicitation.  In a few they might be considered just that.  In practice, LE doesn't try to prove the difficult case of linking the persons to the ad or response to one.  If you are in the same room & the other person is a undercover LEO, you are going to be busted.  They will lead you & possibly even lie to get you to say the magic words of "money for sex" which equals prostitution & is illegal in the US except in certain rural counties in Nevada.  

The whole point of TER is the reviews.  You do indeed need to read the whole reviews as the last step before you make an appointment.  The mere existance of reviews does not prove they are good and the likelihood or a rip off or scam is higher than a LE sting.  But in either case, by seeing only well reviewed ladies, the odds of a sting or scam are greatly reduced & is the Gold Standard of the hobby.  Let the more experienced hobbiests take the chances with the new girls.  I'm not saying to cross them off your list forever, but circle back when they have a few reviews & you are more experienced.  Very often the experienced hobbiests who do get scammed from time to time will write that they knew it was not going to be good when she did or said X.  I have written this myself.

If you want to find out something about the hobby, this is the place to ask.  Our Uncle LEO has to catch you engaging in something in order to bust you.  As others have said, seeing well-reviewed providers will go a long way towards preserving your safety.
