What's the general consensus about this - are we supposed to tip on top of the negotiated rate? I guess what I'm asking is - do the girls expect it? Likewise, the next question might be - how much?

--Tips are for something better than you expected
--If a Lady is better than you expected, a tip is not required, but quite appropriate
--Personally, I never understood the "tip agency Ladies but not independents".  That would be like "tip waiters at chain restaurants but not mom & pop places)

How much?  How much better was it?

considering tipping for good service then what you feel is appropriate is good enough.

the reason for this discrepency is not too different than tipping the waiter but not if he is the owner of the restaurant as well.  Indies keep all and agency ladies may have to give up 50% of the fee.  On the otherhand, indies have to pay their overehead..yeah I guess you are right...just tip if you really liked her and perhaps most importantly, hope to see her again.
