New guy here and wondering if there is a tipping protocol I should follow when meeting with a provider.

Her rates are at 200 per.  Does she expect a tip above and beyond this.  I will be an incall at a motel...

Tips and other gifts are lovely, but none of us should be expecting them.

First off, do research your potential dates.  "Tips" is one way to up sell...  which is, of course, a scam if you don't know about it in advance.

I'll say there is one exception...  a massage  lady (with a low rate) who states up front she "accepts tips for extras".  I was not not able to get her to even suggest an amount.  She was pleased with what I left & I still see her.  The catch is, that I set the rate!  So now I feel I must give the same each visit.  No matter she's a delight!

If she has a website, it may be stated on the site under gifts or favorites. No website, most ladies are appreciative of anything over the agreed rate.

.... to be playing games and wondering what was 'the right thing to do' I would be dating civvies rather than seeing providers.  
To ME, one of the huge UP sides of the 'hobby' is that all the cards are on the table. I know what she expects of me ($$$ and to be treated with respect) and she has let it be known what she does in return.  
Having said all that, if a lady stayed significantly longer or went WELL above and beyond what was expected, yeah I would tip her.  The problem is that for security issues I rarely carry much cash with me beyond the agreed donation - esp if its the first time I see the lady.

is still the same.  I don't tip, but I do take a set of jar candles and a VS $25 gift card.  Not been disappointed by their reactions yet.

I bring Candles, Books, small gifts and lately CD's as my ATF discovers that she likes a lot of what she hears on my laptop play lists during our visits.
