There are some legitimate upselling situations, but they should be spelled out in advance on her site.

The most common is for greek, and also some gals have levels of service (FBSM,GFE, PSE, BDSM) for which they have differnt rate structures.

is tipping generally involved for escort services? How about tipping for a fbst massage? what is the 'rule of thumb', if there is supposedly any tipping involved?

could anyone enlighten me about upselling? is that the norm or unprofessional or..?

thank you in advance!

Here's a previous thread. You might want to learn how to use the search feature "by subject"
Upselling is highly frowned upon and highly unprofessional and should be reported in any review you write.

tipping is usually done after a meeting and is in addition to the donation. if u are asked for a tip, do not tip. a tip is earned, not deserved.

upselling is VERY unprofessional. Imagine walking into Target and having to pay for a parking space, pay for a cart, then pay for someone to check you out at the register....

Tipping is not expected but we love it when you do! Pay their full rate for the time you are there. If you go over time you want to compensate her for it...while I don't mind going a little over time I hate it when a 1hr meeting is scheduled and it stretches into a 2hr+ meeting with no additional compensation. It's not MY fault you are having "issues" below and can't get to the finish line. That's a sure way to get on a do not see list.

I worked as a food server in college and I'm a firm believer in tipping for any service that accepts tips.  I tip housekeepers 5-7$/day in hotels, I tip my housekeepers 10/job at my home, always 20% at restaurants unless actually rude, and even then I figure they're having a bad day (but they dont' get 20%).  I tip room service more than what's added to the check, car wash people....okay.  You guys get it.  I believe tipping says "thank you" the best.  I believe in tipping so much, that if I can't afford a good tip, I don't have the service.  I guess I feel like the money is not even going to be missed by me, but from experience, I know, the good feeling a person gets from an awesome tip can make a person feel good all day.
I recently had a client ask me what I consider a good tip for a 300/H charge.  20% is 60$.  That's a really big tip.  I agreed.  I do get 20%, about 1/20th of the time!  I told him that I would consider 30 or 40$ a nice tip on 300$.  For my hh which are 180, a 20$ tip is nice.
I only get tipped about 50% of the time as an escort.  I don't expect a tip.  It's very nice when I do get one.  I know there are a lot of cheaper escorts out there.  So, if someone decides to pay the extra money to see me and it's a stretch for them, then no tip is fine.  But again, as I'm a tipper, I tend to wonder if someone who has 180 to spend really would miss the extra 20 to make me feel appreciated, or 330?  I only feel that way if I stop to think about it.
With that all being said, I must say that I prefer a client who is on time,  doesn't waste time, is clean, and respectful to a tip, anytime.
I agreed with the lady who posted above me, though, for sure.  If I extend our agreed upon time to help a client finish, I would appreciate a tip at least 50$ for 15 minutes of overtime.
