I don't know if there is any particular amount that is either right or wrong. What I have discovered is that if I intend to be a repeat that it has sometimes helped with the quality of the next session if the provider appreciates the tip. If she does not show appreciation then I know that she could care less if she gets repeats.
I am new to this also ... but here is what I have done. I know I way over_tip but if they are to my expectations I don't mind. I over_tip waits at rests also .. but they remember me and always treat me xtra good. I met a provider... just knew she was great before we started .. tipped $ and all I could say was WOW when I left ... worth EVERY cent. Good luck.
