I'm going to see a massage provider at a private studio. She cahrges $150 for a hour massage. Usually at the AMP's, there is a set tip that you give for the HE, but how much of a tip would be expected or appreciated at an independent massage provider?

What is expected?  Indy's typically set their rates, with no expectation of a tip.  As to what is appreciated... well, anything!  And by that I mean, a nice word, a cute little card, a review, a return visit, or even $10.  You shouldn't have to worry about a tip at all with an indy, though if you feel you will want to tip it should be based on what YOU would like to give.

That said, I recommend you check with her reviews to see if there is any mention of a tip requested.

I know this sounds overly simplistic, but tip what feels right.

Not being a massesuse I don't know the protocol.  But for an independent escort.  Yes the rates ae what they are.  Which means a tip is not required, but of course is always appreciated.

Before or after is the question.  A tip after a date is always a pleasant surprise and a nice qualification of a "job well done."  

And I'd be lying (and so would any other girl IMHO) if I said a nice tip at the beginning of a date didn't give a little extra "incentive" to see my guy has a really special time.  But it's not a requirement for a best effort.
