You do what suits your needs, and what you can enjoy most. If I were to enjoy doubles, I would definitely at least have a 2-2.5 hr appointment to me enough time to enjoy both the girls...

I always get a chuckle out of these types of posts.  No two hobbyists hobby alike so the answers will be all over. Only you can really answer the question.  Many hobbyists like variety, so maybe that will clue you into the way I would answer. BTW, this type of posts even gets asked my veterans.  

oubles sound great in theory (the proverbial "every guy's fantasy is to do a threesome"), but in reality most doubles will prob. disappoint. You really have to know what you want out of it and make sure the girls you are selecting can accommodate. For example (in this happens ALOT), you book a doubles session wanting the ladies to be totally interactive with each other (think lesbian porn) but in the end they rarely touch each other, focusing instead on you. This will seem like two separate individual sessions, clearly not what you had in mind. Also, you are right about the hour. If you can't easily pop twice in the hour (there are after all two ladies and you want to fully enjoy them both), then you will again feel cheated.  

So if you decide to book a doubles session, couple of things to consider. One, make sure the ladies enjoy each others company. NEVER try and throw random provider A and Provider B together for an appointment (b/c you want to see them both). If they don't know and trust each other, the session will most likely disappoint. Two, make sure you convey (and reading available reviews will help) what you want out of the session. (especially if you want the ladies to be interactive with each other). Three, if you can't easily pop twice in the hour, book at least 90 minutes so you can enjoy both ladies.  

I have done many doubles and they can work. So if this is your fantasy while the SO is away, then by all means go for it. Just think out your choices beforehand.

I made the mistake of doing a threesome with an hour appointment. Wish I had that one back, should have took the same money and put torwards a longer date with a favorite. While thing felt rushed, I was able to pop twice in the hour but didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I should have had I booked longer. Now I'm honestly a bit gun shy to try it with different gals and longer term because it was a bit awkward for a few reasons I won't get into here. I'd go with 2 appointments with 2 different ladies but that's just me.

Personally, I would do the two seperate dates. To me, one hour for a threesome is not long enough. Actually, even when I see one lady I prefer a longer appointment,  (90 minute or 2 hours)but definitely for a doubles session, I would want two hours. So if your budget is either one hour with two ladies or one hour each with one lady, I would do the latter. Again that is me, and you might be different, but your last sentence saying one hour is probably not enough to enjoy all the possibilities is spot on to me and it seems like if you are already thinking that way, then your decision is kind of already made up.

depends if you like using all of your equipment at once..your tongue and fingers might get a brief respite..but you dick won't..these ladies use all the resources available to them..

Ok, so I was thinking in the right direction, one hour for a threesome is definitively little time, so I'll keep it in mind for next time and really plan for it. I'm trying to be conscious about my spending and setting some limits to myself, just like any other hobby, this can get expensive really fast, but thank you all for all the good advice.

Problem with doubles is, aside from the cost, if the girls don't know each other, they might not be a good combination.  Don't get me wrong, doubles are fun, but for you, just starting out, it's going to be hard enough to be screened by one of the girls, let alone 2.  I never did a double until I had a pretty good number of singles first.
