For some reason I am "hung up" on the number of reviews I have. Although I'm not in "danger" of getting into the national top 100, getting to 100 is important to me for some reason. Put aside that, for a variety of what I consider to be legitimate reasons, I review less than 50% of the providers I see. The biggest reason being that I regularly see UTR locals (some repeatedly) that don't have, and don't want, review profiles. That is probably true of many reviewers so I am not complaining about that - just pointing it out.
In any event, since I started paying attention, I realized I have 3 DIFFERENT review totals.
First, I have 104 reviews submitted. For a variety of legitimate reason (a new review of a provider I reviewed before, a review submitted on a delisted provider, etc), 10 of these review do not count in my total.
Second, based upon the above, I have a total of 94 reviews that show up for me. For instance, when I post on a message board, I will show has having 94 reviews. This makes sense to me.
Finally, I just discovered that I can look at the top 100 reviewers for my local market (Chicago) to see if I cracked that market. I did, but the review total for me on that list is only 77. I checked another reviewer and his numbers are different as well. It is not a "big deal" since the same rules doubtless apply to all. I am just curious if anyone can tell me why the discrepancy between the final two review totals.
