Date Check is the only one I signed up for, because they didn't ask for any personal info from me. They only required providers to vouch for me, which I politely asked them to do, and they did. Plus I paid Date Check once for a lifetime membership. So I never need to be bothered with that again.
I don't care if the owner of P411 says they need my info and then they will destroy it. Obviously they would tell you what you want to hear anyway, regardless of whether or not it is true. I am not saying it is not true, that part I don't know for sure. In truth, nobody knows for sure.
Can anyone explain to me how discrete the verification services like P411 or R2k are?
I'm brand new to the hobby and am hoping to take the plunge. One of the things I'm a bit nervous about is all the personal information asked by P411 and R2k, especially the stuff about my employer.
I'm a part time hobbyist and I'm right there with you. I don't trust giving that info to any of these services, especially since I see many providers don't rely on the services to begin with. Most do some sort of their own verification so you are going to have to make them comfortable. It just seems like and extra level of risk. Your personal information is sitting on a server in some company somewhere that can be accessed via the Internet or the data can be obtained via a warrant......sorry, I'll pass.

RS2000 is not really a verification website, the basis of their existence has never made sense to me. I don't really know why they're so popular with everyone. Their set-up simply defeats the very purpose of signing up for a membership with a verification website.
I would not recommend getting a membership with P411 and leave it at that
