What are people's opinion on said site?  Looking at it, I would presume that most of the woman that post there are professionals looking for business - or of course people pretending to be someone they are not.  What have people's experiences (if any) on a) using it for it's stated purpose in finding an 'adult' relationship, b) are there many pro's there? (% of?) c) YMMV the pic's don't match the person (assuming people have met persons via that format). d) If you don't use it, why not????  Thanks in advance for any and all thoughts on this issue.

It's ok .... I have ventured in and out of there for fun .. I can see it to be useful if you live in a small town area that has no provider services.  As for pros using it, yes they are there but again only in major markets or big cities. I have a friend that has had great success using it ... but she is in the DC area so she has alot of gents to choose from ....

Be prepared for an inbox full of spam. Also, when I tried it, there were more fake personalities on there than real ones.

but it's mostly a clearing house for pros.  You might have some fun, but don't get roped into any of the expensive memberships, and do get yourself a good anti-spam software.

I tried it- complete waste of time

First off, you have to submit and post your own ad to even browse the ads, then you would have to pay a membership fee to be able to respond to any ads you see- the end result is that the overwhelming majority of their "9,650,764 active members" are simply people who looked at the site a long time ago. Most of the ads there are long abandoned.

The second problem is the sexually explicit format of the site. It draws A LOT more men than women. -Women read romance novels, and men read porno mags.-- The result is that the men looking for women outnumber women looking for men 20 to 1. Those few women who are actually still on the site (as opposed to the abandoned ads) are probably so flooded with emails from horny men that they are scared to read their mail.

A straight man looking for women for relationships, sex, etc would have more success on one of the less explicit sites, like Friendfinder (adult friend finder's sister site) or Yahoo personals. The overly explicit format of AFF is a turn-off to a lot of women- defeating the site's purpose.

The sexyads site was OBVIOUSLY set up for men.  It has an explicit format(nude pictures allowed, sex mentioned on the front page) Most of the pictures on the front page are of scantily-clad women. The default controls for the "search ads" are to show ads from women seeking men. The site is designed to cater primarily to men seeking women.

The result would most likely be an extremely lopsided male-to-female ratio perhaps even worse than AFF's 20-to-1.

Remember what I said-women read romance novels and men read porno- if the site is too explicit, it will be almost all men.

Don't waste your time or money.

Well I think it depends on your approach. I have been with four women from there. It takes time but it is still the only sex related site where I got some.

The others have fake emails or escorts.

The four did not cost me anything besides dinner or a hotel room.

You can not post on these site, with hey I am looking to screw anything that moves. DO NOT post any nudes of yourself.

I have talked to the women, they don't like it. Just be cool and casual most of all respectful and it pays off.

i signed up for it but did not pay.  i was surprised to find out that someone PMed me one day, saying she used a friend's (male) account and she gave me her email.  i was surprised since i really didn't put anything in my profile(plus it was buried under the hundreds of ones that did pay).  i emailed her back, and she replied.  she gave me her website with a few of her pics.  the website seemed to be normal, but apparently, to view the rest of her website you have to pay for this adult varification thing.  so i don't know if it was something just to sign up for that site since she didn't email me back since

I want to use to to garner business and clients, but my impression is that it's all a bunch of guys who are looking for free one-night-stands or they're actually looking for a girl they have things in common with for a LTR.  Am I misinterpreting guys' profiles?  How can I tactfully communicate though my profile on AFF that I'm looking for business?  I brought it up to one young college-age guy and he just said straight out "i'm not going to pay to fuck you."  That's fine, but I'm just really confused about who is on the site for what reasons.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!
