Searching posts has been a very common answer to many newbie questions.  It is a very valuable tool.  It was suggested to me that I post instructions on how to search for info.  Follow these easy steps after you click on the search button at the top of the page.

1.  The first thing is to indicate how you want to sort the results.  The default is by date, but you can elect to sort by author name or subject.  Just use the drop down menu to select.
2.  Next,  select what words you want to search for, ‘All these words’, ‘Any of these words’, or ‘Exact phrase’.  Once you have done that, type your selected words in the box to the left of the drop down menu.
3.  If you are looking for a particular poster’s post, enter the handle in the box by ‘author’
4.  Select a day range,  I’m not sure how far back you can search but  I would try searching back at least 360 days.  Indicate something like either ‘0 to 360’, or reverse ‘360 to 0’ if  first selection didn’t work.  You can check ‘include text’ or leave it unchecked.  Try it both ways if needed..

Hope this helps.
