They will offer you a price for blow jobs, fuck, etc. If you say Yes, hand over the money, promise to pay by saying you are going home or ATM to get money, or make a loan for sex, this is enough for ninja style cops to arrest you. Never admit you are comming for sex. You can spot a decoy by the way they talk.  Just tell them that you just want to watch movies, TV, video games, etc. This is not a crime. If the escort start talking about trading money for sex, leave immediately.
9. Leave the cash on the table and do not hand it to an escort. If you pay the escort by handing the cash, you leave stronger evidence behind.
10. Circle around the hotel, or motel parking lot 30 minutes before the appointment. Also drive on adjacent parking lots and streets around the hotel or motel. If you see anything suspicious, do not go in.
11. A method that strippers and dancers use to solicit money for sex is to turn up the music so the police audio equipment cannot record the conversation. I cannot recommend or recommend this method. I do not know.
Remember no fool proof method. Just make it harder for them to catch you. Don't be dumb and walk into incall without knowing the person.

You are making many generalizations and stating them as if they are facts. I can poke holes in just about every one of your points above, but I don't have the time right now to write a long point by point response. For now I will just say some of your points are good, some are good in some circumstances but not others, some are so-so, and some are downright false.

I just hope the newbies reading, know enough to take everything with a grain of salt, and that generally all we can ever do is minimize risk, while never completely eliminating it. And that generally they should never take any one post as gospel, but read back many pages on this board, to see and compare the advice of many posters, and read the self-help manual.

Greg has gone way to far in over-generalizations.  Some of the advice is good, but much of it is just way overboard.  If we did all that before going to see a provider, we'd never have time to enjoy a date.  Why would anyone make a date with a provider just to play video games?  If we do the proper research on the provider we want to see, that is just ridiculous to even consider.

* Backpage is an ad site. Nothing more. There are a lot of scams and B&S, and even some LE stings on there, but there are also legit providers. You need to know how to research and weed through the bad ads, if you are selecting ladies from there. There are other ways to research the ladies besides finding out if they are on one of the verification sites. And it is not just BP. The same thing can happen on any ad site inclucing EROS, CV and even TER. There was a lady using fake pictures posting on the NY TER ad board. By the way, police have also used p411 to catch people.

* Reviews are one of the best ways to determine if the lady is real and the right match for you. The key is Several to many reviews, not just a couple, by seasoned reviewers, who you can Pm to find out more information. There are also other review sites besides TER. Some are legit. Some not so much. Police are not likely to set up a fake profile and submit many reviews under many different hobbyist names. If a provider has only a few reviews from unknown reviewers, then you may be taking chances.

* WHOA! Where did you get that one from? Do you have the police regulations manual for every municipality in the country? While it is less likely to do an outcall sting, it is not impossible and  it is not against police department rules. Yes, incall stings are way more likely but incalls can also be very safe, if you follow other incall rules (i.e. well reviewed provider, no motels with outside doors, hotel rooms without adjoining suites, etc)

* Probably true but most hobbyists, especially newbies, may be on a budget. Dinner dates can be very expensive. Also many hobbyists who do dinner dates will not do it on a first date, as they want to know the provider first. Also some providers won't do dinner dates, or won't do dinner dates as a first date either. So while it might be true that a police officer is not likely to have a dinner date with you in order to arrest you later, it is also not practical advice to probably 90-95% of newbie hobbyists.

*Maybe some truth in this one, but Eros guide has fake ads too and can also have LE ads. And while it may not be likely that LE will place along term ad it is not impossible. As with everything else, do your research. Never just answer an ad without checking her out on TER, and Google, etc.

*Most of the first part of your statement is true. Yes they will try to get you to talk about exchanging sex for money, but they can still arrest you if you showed up in the room where a sting was occurring. They know why you were there, and it becomes your word against theirs. You might eventually beat the charge in court with a good lawyer but do you want to go through all that? The fact is you can still be arrested, even if you don't talk about sex for money. Do all your research first and try not to ever get in to that situation. If somehow you do get into the situation, then definitely do not talk about money or sex, and it is a good idea to leave (or try to) if the escort talks about it. However, that is not fool proof and you can still be arrested just for being there. On another note, your comment that, “You can spot a decoy by the way they talk” is just laughable. Sorry buddy.

It is a risky hobby but there are many many ways to drastically minimize the risks.

2. If you are bold, just tell the escort that you just want to watch TV, play video games, watch movie, read a book, etc. If you mention this over the phone, the undercover cop most likely going to refuse you because you will not give in to their sting.

3. It is better not to have sex on the first date than to get sting. It depends on the situation. If you feel comfortable, then maybe go ahead. If you going to do it, it is best to wait 30 minutes.

4. Why wait? You can sniff out an Undercover cops. Undercover cops get impatient. They want you to admit you are coming for sex and you willing to pay for it. When you do this, they can bust you.

5. Watch for any conversation of moving towards trading money for sexual services. Undercover cops will try to engage in such conversation. A true escort know what is expected and do not need to ask you what you want.

If you have a better way to beat the sting operation, then your way will work just as fine or better. I understand Newbe will not go for not having sex with the escort. An undercover cop most likely will get in a conversation of trading money for sex right away because they want to get evidence on you. Remember it is not a crime to seek escort service. It is a crime to make offer trading money or property for sexual services.
