What are the POSITIVE aspects of working for an agency? What are the NEGATIVE?

What are typical pay splits? How do you get hired at an agency?(call up the number listed and ask if they are hiring?)

I'm considering working for an agency because of the "guaranteed" clients. I'm having a hard time finding clients these days.... :(

Most agencies have a link on their website for contacting them about potential employment.  The splits are all over the place from what I have had gals say over the years.  Some pay travel, some don't, some pay hotels, some don't and some split it with you.  As far as "guaranteed" clients go do not assume that will be the case.  Agencies have been hit by the economy just as indies have.  The better agencies with a good reputation should be able to send some business your way but, just as with indies, a lot of guys are looking for reviews before they try a new girl.

The most common negative I hear from the ladies is the fact that they do not have as much scheduling freedom once they submit themselves to a regular agency schedule. Remember however that no legit agency will force you work when you don't want to.

Use the access to go to site reviews and study ratings for escort agencies in your region. The higher rated ones are the ones that you should have a conversation with about working. High rated agencies have reliable client business. Higher rated agencies typically have the best owners so your split of hourly rates will likely be highest.

I have an experience from two weeks ago where a high rated agency brought in a new provider. She booked solid due to the agency's reputation. I know because I wanted to see her and almost got booked out because I waited a day to schedule. Many hobbyists are willing to take a chance on a new provider if she is represented by a top rated agency.

the splits could be 100 or more out of a 300 session - for example. Also, some agencies do not screen well... do not alert or report bad customers (i.e. don't watch out for your well being) and some even "require favors" from the employees for the management.

That said, there are some good agencies out there.

However, I am not an agency provider so take it FWIW.

Only agency I could find doing a Google search for St. Louis.  Site says they are hiring.

I just tried two things (you need VIP, I think).

1. I went to the "Other Cities" regional board. Then, at the top, I did "Search" on that board for "St. Louis" as Exact Phrase (in the drop down), day range = 30 to 0 and got a bunch of posts, mostly Indies but some from agencies who, I guess, have business there (Apres Vous, VivaAgency, ???). Expand the day range or contact some of the posters and ask for advice. (Tattooed Asian Kim in St. Louis? She's an Indy from NYC!)

2. Then, using VIP search privileges, I selected United States, St. Louis and "agency / driver / independent" = agency and let the search wheel spin. Start reading the profiles and see who works where. Maybe delete the "agency" restriction because profiles are created by a bunch of idiots (us hobbyists!) and we don't always enter the correct info. Lots of indies show up as "agency" and some agency girls are probably incorrectly listed as indy or driver, too. A few ... Viva, Apres Vous, Perfect Ten ...

In this business getting a start is about 1) Looks, 2) Youth 3) Performance. If you are a beautiful, young provider who performs her job well, you can work in any big city of your chosing. You said in a different post that you are young. If you are also hot by the prevailing standards for hot in this country, ie, weight proportional, decent chest, gorgeous face and/or eyes, just chose highly rated agencies in any US city that you want to work in and get in touch with them. I have seen providers who were based on the west coast and worked for agencies that were based on the east coast. You can fly from home to a big city to work for two or three week then fly back home if you want. The magic pass is you being young, hot and good. BTW, the 63% rating of the St.Louis agency is bad, shoot for ratings above 80% with more than 5 hobbyists rating the agency. Check the hobbyist's review histories to ensure they are legit.

I have yet to meet a provider from a high rated agency that has all high performing providers who was unhappy about how she was being treated. The important factor is that a provider has to do research before chosing an agency so that she lands with a good one that will treat her and clients well.

I sent you a PM, but I dont know if you have access.
Going agency is up to you. I'm Indy, newer, and usually have to turn away more jobs then I can handle. Email me through my website, there is a ton of business to be had in St. Louis, but it's all about knowing the right places to network.
