I like using verifyhim.com their basic searches are free, although I believe there's a limit per month. It's well worth upgrading imo because you get more info on the guys. All sorts of stuff can show up on there because it combs through other blacklist websites, message boards etc sort of like a search engine. Very useful

Hi Everyone! My name is Lala Bunny and I'm quite new to the whole discussion board thing and I need some input from providers or even hobbyist for this matter.
OK, so I am trying my best to stay clear of backpage being that was one of my main sources of posting a provider ad. Lately I seem to have been running into some problems being that I'm extra paranoid about the calls that I have been receiving so I delete all my posts and try to some how work around it by going to  other sites even though there are risks everywhere else as well. So my question is... What is the best way to screen a new client? I have had a few that were easy to screen because they either had referrals from providers or they were a member of a date verification site. Here's where my problems is what if they do not have any provider referrals or not a member of sites like TER? What is the next best way to verify who they are? and if they will be safe? I've been providing for quite some time and I have never ran into any issue before (where's the wood..knock,knock,knock lol) but I feel it's time for me to start taking the extra precautions now so that way I have a better chance of keeping my clean record!

The Provider Only Board.

You have more than enough reviews to join the PO Board, so I suggest you go there.

You have to remember that LE can read the open boards, and giving away knowledge on how you screen only makes it easier for LE to bust people.

send you a link to some very useful sites. I either require 2 recent refs from ONLY TER reviewed providers with a six month review history or full name and employment, and don't just assume the company they give you is valid. I can tell you how to find out if they are full of crap and also show you how to check if they have been rip offs or stalkers in the past.

Hi Lala Bunny,

Besides the PO Board, which I'm sure can be very helpful, you will have to set your  criteria, so why not go to some well established provider sites as well, and well established agencies and read the criteria they have, and see what fits you.  You can  see lists of well established providers as they are reviewed on  TER in your locale or others, and look at their websites for their criteria.

This would also allow you  to call some of them and  ask them, or PM them here.

And as Mr. Fisher stressed, that a perspective client is  a TER member is not a way of verifying them.  TER doesn't have any verification criteria for joining.  Anyone can join TER.

Many providers require one of the verification services you mentioned, and may require additional references.

Thank you all!! I will definitely be taking all of your sound advice. I may loose some clientele now but who cares I rather be safe than sorry especially with all of the things going on in Phx right about now.

I myself, am trying to find the right words to say so woman like yourself will give me a chance.I am a newbie,I don not know the correct things to say nor ask, and I happen to be black, so I am at a lost for my first experience.
