Any time you use your real name that is a potential issue.

You can use any name you want and pay by money order, or get your VIP by writing reviews.

Personally, very, very few know my actual data and I plan on keeping it that way.

P411, etc, should allow you to have minimal exposure.  Add a couple good references (which might take a little work initially) and you should be good to go with a lot of providers.

if anyone else used a fake name to register on TER? I'm super paranoid and thought of all the bad possible outcomes of putting my personal information on this website. With that being said, does this hurt my chances of contacting a provider because my ter info is not the real me? Did any of you guys do the same thing? Should i make a real account with my actual info? Thanks in advance.

Like p411 and date check are what you should be using good verification. TER wont give out your real name or show it. Some providers I have seen use TER good further verification or to see your reviews so she knows what you like.

I have also heard of some providers refusing to see someone who isn't afraid to give a bad review. Because of that, I don't give. TER handle much.

If I don't have any references or reviews, how do i get providers to meet with me? As stated previously, do i give them my real name or the name that i have on ter? Sorry for the totally noob questions.

Gina at P411 will work with you to verify you as ok.  Call her toll-free number.  You many have to give her some personal info, but it's better to give it once to her than to several providers until you can get some refs.  And, their servers are in Canada, not the US.

And if you do get verified by P411, there are providers that WILL see you.  It might take some work, but they are out there.  Trust me, that's the boat I'm in and I have handful of gals I'm considering contacting (just need to grow some balls and do it!).

And when you do see a "newbie friendly" provider, be sure to ask her after the session if she would be willing to "OK" you on P411 (it's basically a stamp of approval for other providers indicating that you're an OK guy....not insane, treat provider with respect, etc.).  Once you get a few of those, you'll be on your way (so the vets tell me!).
