What are your experiences with Agencies compared to independent providers? Where I normally operate there are plenty of independent girls to choose from but I'm doing some research on somewhere I'm visiting and does not have as much independent providers. I never dealt with agencies, some people say they are more expensive but it was not the case when I research the girls I wanted. I also see the image of a driver taking provider to several johns a night who she may or may not be perfectly willing, is that even remotely true?

I would inquire on local boards about the reputation of agencies.

Some people do well with agencies.  The knock on them is that they are targets for LE, and if they get busted, you have to fret about whether or not your personal info will end up with LE

Just do your research, and stick to well reviewed ladies, and/or well reviewed agencies with good reputations.

Personally, I have used agencies and have had good experiences with them.
I don't find agencies to be more expensive. In fact it is usually the opposite

can be good or bad. See well-reviewed ladies and you should be OK.  

IMHO, if it came down to two ladies and one was indy and the other an agency gal, I would choose the indy. Independents tend to care more about customer service.

In a lot of cases, one isn't necessarily better than the other in terms of performance on the client's end.  

The differences really lie in the experience of the provider, and some agencies offer far better pay and experience for their ladies.  If you're concerned about the employment practices of an agency, I'd do your research.  There are a few provider-owned and operated agencies across the country who offer more than fair splits to their girls, but not too many.  

Essentially, the better an agency takes care of it's ladies, the more likely those ladies are to stick around.  Does the agency have a high retention rate? That might be a clue.  Being fairly paid also means ladies aren't running themselves ragged turning $200/hr FS dates and working beyond capacity to make bills.  Of course, this is also something that independent women experience too.  

So really, do your research. Reviews are helpful, but so is online presence and social media presence.

You're ultimately getting the same thing in exchange for your money: the time and companionship of a beautiful woman.  I also prefer independents for multiple reasons, but ended up starting out with agencies, due to two factors working against me: newbie status and young age.  They seemed to be scaring off most independents, at least until I built up a review history; after that, it was fine.  That was also when I started attending M&G's, which helped independents feel more relaxed about seeing me.

I only have one minor gripe with agencies: it's harder to suspend disbelief when you're with them.  I had only one agency provider that got me to forget it was a service; she had a very bubbly, youthful personality.  Others ranged from highly affectionate to downright mechanical, but I ultimately *knew* I was with a provider.  While with most independents, I could almost believe I was with a very short-term girlfriend, while still keeping the reality in perspective.  And isn't that the point of seeing a provider?

Another thing about agencies---and maybe it's just me---is that sometimes I'd be apprehensive about talking to young male schedulers.  I found them to be overly aggressive and impatient.  Men age 45+, as well as women schedulers, I was totally cool with.

I just finished using agencies in two European cities where all of this is legal.  There were aspects of the experience that turned me off somewhat.

In the first case, at a supposed reputable agency, the guy I spoke with was a jerk.  Highly impatient.  If he is a jerk with a client, what does that say about how the girls are treated?  At the end of the session, I asked a casual question to the provider about whether she ever communicates directly with clients.  The startled look and reaction, made me suspicious about the degree of control being exerted.  I did not end up with a comfortable feeling.

In the second case, I know I was dealing with a well respected agency, but the service standard was not there.  I booked an appointment days in advance.  A few hours before the appointment, I reached out to check on status, and then they tell me the escort is sick and not available.  When did they intend to tell me?  Also, I told them multiple times that I wanted the lady to dress casually or professionally in the name of discretion.  They assured me that they would comply.  Then the replacement shows up in a highly provocative outfit.  I don't think she got the request.  

Overall, my policy has been is that I don't want a middle man between me and the escort.  In both of these cities, there is not much of an independent scene, so decided to give agencies a shot.  I think I will just do without, rather than violate this personal policy again.
