They are supposed to have only one "real" TER handle....

VIP members can have an unlimited number of aliases.

Tbe difference is that when a person posts with their normal handle, and envelope will appear next to their name when you open the post.  If an alias, no envelope will appear.

Now, I have heard of some members using two different computers on two different networks to get around this restriction, and I suppose it happens, but it is contrary to TER's rules.

You can not post a review using an alias. That being said, there are some reviewers who choose to use an alias for all of their board posts thus accomplishing a level of separation between their board and reviewing persona.

Right???

I know a couple people with more than one. I don't know if I know.

What if there is a review posted but then if you do a search by reviewer, that handle is not found in the database..
Not to mention there is no "online Status" button next to his handle..?
It would seem to me like the review is posted under some sort of an alias..
