Provider Protocol

I'm new to TER and don't know if these questions have already been asked and answered. However, I would seriously like to know what experiences people have had:

Most of the Provider Ads do not contain any type of pricing. For someone like me, who is not wealthy, I need to know the approximate pricing before I even consider a provider. What is the best way to find out how much she charges without compromising the legal aspects?

Are most providers open to meeting you in a club or restaurant first, for a drink or coffee, and then making your way back to her place. Of course you would pay her for that extra time. May be a safer way to give her the fee as no transaction would be done in her place.  

How precarious is it to see a provider considering the illegality and punishment by law enforcement if caught? Is this something that I have to really worry about or is it just hype?  If so, what are the best ways to avoid any problems. I was even considering flying down to Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic as an alternative as prostitution is legal in both of those places and police don't get involved.

Since you're new

I believe the consensus you will receive is to use TER to search for a provider.  Trust me, you will find plenty of wonderful ladies.  Many have websites or links to other sites they use.  All the information you are seeking generally can be found, along with other protocol items.

Pricing can usually be found on her website and in her TER profile. You should have no problem finding her rate if you are doing the research you should be doing. If her rates are not found anywhere you can ask how much she gets for an hour of her time, if you ask how much for a blowjob she will likely end her contact with you. For me, if she isn't professional enough to make her rates available I won't waste my time asking and will move on to someone else.  
 Many do dinner dates or meet you for a drink if that's what you want to pay her to do. No it isn't any safer, the only time giving her the money will get you arrested is if you are in the room with LE and then it doesn't matter what you do, you are going to be arrested. If you find yourself in the room with LE the best thing you can do is STFU....do not lie or try to talk your way out of it you will only dig your hole deeper, remain silent and get a lawyer.
 It's not hard to avoid LE, research your companion first and only see well reviewed providers. Google her name, her number and her pictures. Read her complete reviews to be sure she provides the services you are looking for, to do this you need to have VIP if you don't have it get it.
 You can chase pussy all over the globe but it's probably cheaper to find it closer to home, but only you can decide how much risk is acceptable to you.

Don't see ladies that don't have prices in the ads. Use TER to find ladies...

...look on the TER regional ad board for your area. The rates will be in their ads or on their web site. You being a newbie need to stick to ladies that have a lot of reviews and about half of their reviewers need to have written alot of reviews. In my area there are a lot of excellent providers between 200 to 300 an hour. Many others at 350 to 400 are available too.

Please read the pages of this board and the Self-Help Center. You can find the Self-Help Center by going to the site map at the bottom of the page. Click on it then look under Info & Policy. The Self-Help Center link is there.

You can run into robs, bait & switch, and rip offs by dealing with ladies that don't post rates. You're chances of dealing with Law enforcement are much higher going with these ladies. If you're looking at Back Page ads you're going to see a lot of this. BP has reputable ladies but they are harder to find. If one interests you come to TER to see if she has a lot of good reviews. If not don't bother. Using TER to begin with skips that step.

There is always a risk of LE but using TER and seeing well reviewed ladies dimineshes the risk greatly.

I would think that if you are taking her to have a drink first and then you put the envelope on the table how is LE going to be able to arrest you in her apartment? No financial transaction took place in her apartment. Unless of course she is a LE undercover. How could the LE arrest you just for being in her apartment with her and having a relationship, unless having sex is now against the law. Which, would not surprise me in this country.

If LE is in the apartment of a known prostitute

and you are with her you will be arrested whether they saw you give her money or not. You may not be convicted but your name and booking photo will be publicized, when they tell the media how tough they are on trafficking, long before you even see a judge.  
What will you tell them when they ask you your girlfriend's name? I bet it won't be the same name as the ID she gives the cops, lying or obstruction is even easier to convict you on than a low level prostituion charge.

I don't understand. Maybe you can educate me. I thought that prostitution was money exchanged for sex. How can the police arrest someone inside her own apartment having sex with someone if there is no money exchanged? You mean to tell me that two people having sex in an apartment is against the law? If this is the case then we indeed have a society that is not unlike that of Iran or North Korea. Don't the police have some murderers and rapists to pursue?

If you are caught in an LE sting

The police do not give a damn if you are guilty or not, reasonable suspicion is all they need. If you are consorting with a known prostitute they have reasonable suspicion. The DA will decide whether to charge you or not but the damage to your reputation will be done long before you have the opportunity to prove your innocence.
No they can not just come barging in unless she has been under investigation and they have a warrant. But at that point whether you paid her in the tea room, her apartment or not at all is irrelevant to your arrest. They may give you the opportunity lie to them as you try to justify why you are there, just so you can be charged with that even if the prostituion change is weak.

Yes, at least here in North Carolina you need to have a marriage license in order to legally have sex.  And can only do it with the person named on your license, otherwise it's a crime.  They can tack on another charge if you're doing it in a hotel.  And another charge if you were seen together in public.

Yeah, that licence is a powerful piece of paper - it can convert the activities between two people into sanctioned activities.  Call it a government permit to fornicate, but only with one person at a time.

Now remember, church and state are to be separate - but in my state a certain religious group controls the state government and uses their power to enforce their particular brand of morality.  It's interesting to see how they react when an even more austere religious group proposes tenets; suddenly those people are extremists or cults.  It'd be funny if people's lives and freedom didn't hang in the balance.

Well then, looks as if I'm going to be taking a trip to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Thailand, or even Great Britain (yes prostitution is legal in Great Britain with the exception of Northern Ireland where they just changed it from legal to illegal). I'm not going to chance having my reputation destroyed by some archaic law and police that have nothing better to do.
