getting ready for my first trip to Vegas with some outcalls in mind.

i definitely understand that it's best to go with well-reviewed providers (duh). it seems like the general consensus is that for first-timers like me it's best to go with a provider who's got reviews from within the last month or so.

i found an ad for a provider who really interests me, and she's been well-reviewed here several times; but she has no reviews for the last 3 months. i'm not worried about LE or anything like that, but is there anything else i'm not thinking of? should this be a warning light?

i know, i know; i'm probably just a typical newbie overthinking things and she's on vacation or something; but anybody got two cents to add? thanks...

Nothing could have changed, but everything could have changed.  Before you write me off as a nut, let me explain.
She could still be very active in the business but could have such a list of "regulars" that she does not need to see new hobbyists - many regulars probaly do not write reviews on their favorites, I do not.
Then again, she could have "retired" from the business and is doing something else for a living, or she may have made enough money that she does not have to do anything for a while.
It is less likely that she is in jail, unless she committed a serious crime. Providing does not qualify as a serious crime in most states.
You can try contacting her, the best way is by email since that is somewhat more palatable than calling into the home of someone who may have picked up a phone number that she once had.  When you email her, write that you saw her reviews in TER and will be in Vegas soon (you can say within a few days, but do not give the exact time, you can do this if she reply positively to your email) and would like to spend some time with her.  If she does not respond within 96 hours (4 days) look for someone else.

have peaks and valleys in the review arena.  TER doesn't represent all the hobbiests out there.  And a particularly good review on TER will suddenly make that provider's phone ring from TER members that may not of heard from her before.  Then there's a bunch of TER reviews that beget reviews until it peters out.  Then it starts all over again.  Ya see what I mean?  It doesn't mean she's quit or died.  But then again, as Still Tryin' said, she could've.  Just contact her if you're serious about setting up an appointment...don't waste her time if you aren't...and she'll respond to that if she's still in the business.  The important thing to remember, and it's so obvious that guys miss it, is if she's got a website up somebody's paying good money to keep it up.  So she's probably in business.

thanks for the thoughts. i'd figured about as much, but wasn't sure, since i'm just getting into this world.

the girl in question has a listing on a couple of the "mall" sites (cityvibe and one other i can't remember), but not her own site per se. is it reasonable to assume that a "mall" listing alone (no personal web site) means she's still in business? it does not appear to have been updated recently, but it's still there.

i've already passed the window for my upcoming trip, so this is mostly academic, but i'll know for the future. thx...

who's gonna be a good or bad experience from some of those mall ads...it's the reviews that can do that for you.  The personal websites vary widely, obviously, but can be more revealing.  Either way I've been counting on the reviews to begin with...then when I like a lady I go back a second time and boy does that make a difference for me, speaking one newbie to another.  (Big change in the relaxation department, making me more creative for the session, et al.)  I think most ladies would feel the same way...perhaps a high volume provider will need her memory jarred if you wait too long before a second visit. I recommend wearing distinctive bibbed overalls to every session.  Or, after the shower but before the activities begin, start jumping up and down on the bed and giggling.  Sometimes a homemade scent will jar her memory...like...
I'm sorry, this joke is going nowhere...I was just gonna get gross with the scent thing.
