If the provider has 5 or more reviews there will always be numbers there (her average).

If the provider has less than 5 reviews it will depend on how long the review has been posted.  The averages are only calculated once a day.  If the review was posted after the average was calculated the NA will be displayed.  If the calculation was performed after the review was posted there will be numbers even though she might only have 1 review.

So, if you have 3 reviews you will have an average displayed until you get a new review.  The new review kicks those averages off the page until the system cycles through and then the average will be shown again.

Thats why you see even ladies with only one review will have an average displayed.

I have a question on review rankings.  I am sort of new to TER and not a lot of experience with the site.  I looked for the answer to this question but can't locate the info.  I noticed that most ladies are ranked on the profile.  My rank was (I think) 8.5 yesterday but it shows N/A as of today.  What does the rank mean- an average of reviews why would I have an N/A?

It is true, you must have a  minimum of 5 to get a ratings average on your profile.  If you had it before you got 5 and now you don't, someone messed up.  Tori, I just looked at your profile, you have 4 reviews so on your next one, you should get the averages back.

...You need 5 reviews to have an average and stars on your profile. Yes, it's an average of the ratings on your reviews.

Don't know why you had a rank yesterday but not today. Was the (8.5) rank on your profile (upper left corner) or was it somewhere else with your info?

Did you have 5 reviews and one has been removed? (Pure speculation here.)

Thank you for the impressively informative response! :)

I recall you explained about the calculation update once before. I just never noticed a provider with less than 5 reviews having an average before. I'll try to remember this for further use.

Am I correct then that when the next average update takes place she will once again have an average rating on her profile?

The reviews dated for the current day don't have an average listed for providers with less that 5 reviews.  If you look at the reviews posted the previous day, even the ladies with only 1 review will have an average.  There might be a few missing due to the time the update recycles averages.

I rememberr you postng that before. I was looking for it to link. Thanks for posting again. The other answsers on this thread, while they were correct, did not actually address why she had an average and then it disappeared. Your explanation did! :)
