As with many others here, this is my first time ever.

So, I've picked my first provider based on her reviews here and how she sold herself on her personal website.  But it isn't very clear (to me anyway) about what she wanted for references and what her rates were.
Especially her rates.  Her ad on the MI Eros Guide, her profile here, and her personal website all say different things (with her website actually being the vaguest of all).

So I've sent her an email (first contact ever) 4 days ago asking her to clarify want she wanted reference wise and how I could send/show her such info (as well as what her rates are), but she hasn't responded yet.

I realize that providers have lives and that she could be busy, but nevertheless I was wondering how long I should wait before trying again.
It's the usual dilemma you know...I'm eager to see her, but don't want to seem pushy.

I hope she hasn't rejected me already just based on my email, although I don't think I've said anything that offputting:  Just asked her about the information above, told her how green I was, and hoped to hear from her soon.

She may have been inundated with emails, and yours could've gotten buried, landed in the spam folder, or just been lost in cyberspace...
Try sending another with as much relevant info as you can provide, letting her know this is your second email.  If she still doesn't answer, you should probably move on.

For me the shortest response time was about fifteen minutes...the longest? well, I emailed three years ago and I still haven't heard back...

OK, all kidding aside response time can vary. Does she have very recent reviews? If not she may not even be active right now.  As far as rates it is tough to go into this sort of thing in an initial email but if you saw a recent Eros ad that is probably what you want to go by.  Honestly, if her website is that sketchy about rates that would be a red flag for me.  A gal's website is her primary source of promoting herself and, as far as I'm concerned, everything you need to know should be spelled out clearly on that site.  This should include rates and verification requirements.

Recent reviews?  Yep.  Three from last month (October), one from Sept., and at least 6 from August.  I could give her TER ID# here if that's kosher so folks could look up her profile here.

How red a red flag would a sketchy website be?  Would that outweigh the good recent reviews she's had here?
Anyway, according to her calendar on her website she's got appts. throughout this week but nothing for the rest of this month.

Better would be to get VIP, and PM some of her recent reviewers and ask them about the rates that they paid.

Really?  I may be new to this whole thing but that just sounds strange to me.  Surely she knows how...confusing...the info is she's giving out here?
Like I said, her webpage is actually the vaguest of all.  How could she expect prospective new clients to NOT ask her about them?  How are we supposed to know how much to bring?

This IS supposed to be our first meeting after all.  Does she have some sort of strange standard of "I'll only go out with guys smart enough to figure these things out"?  Or like I wondered earlier, maybe she doesn't like dealing with newbies?

I've heard that "VIPs" are a mixed bag.  Browsing about, it also seems to me that those who call themselves "VIPs" are a bit pricier.
I've also heard that "VIPs" are pickier about their clients.  That they're used to more "sophisticated" men.

I actually did PM the last guy to review her here, but he didn't respond.

Ooops...I actually DID get a couple of PMs about this!
Thanks to you both (and everyone responding to my OP on this thread of course)!

questions about rates and explicit services in order to make a case against the provider if they have targeted her for a bust.

Therefore, those two topics are taboo as far as most gals are concerned.

The most I would say to her is something like:

I am unclear as to what a proper gift would be and how can you clarify that for me?

Hopefully she can then refer you to one site or another which should settle the question, hopefully.

Hmmmm.....I didn't mention services at all and I thought "references" and "rates" were innocent enough.  ANY service industry has rates after all!

What about questions about references?

her an e-mail on Monday for a date on Wednesday, you need a reply in less than 24 hours.  If the date is next week, you have more time to wait.  I almost always have a plan B and plan C lady in mind if the first choice is not available or doesn't get back to me in a reasonable amount of time.
