Was the phone # your hobby phone?  If so, and the phone is not listed to a name or address, there's little harm.  But if you have made the mistake of giving a provider your primary cell phone then you could have a problem.
Most mongers use hobby phones so their number is totally anonymous.  The only ones who don't are guys who don't give a fuck because they are un-married, beyond blackmail and all their friends and family know.  In other words, very few of us.  I hope you have not made this newbie mistake.  If so, I'd ditch your phone # fast, get a new one and also get a burn phone.
Meanwhile I'd do my homework on all the other things you need to know to do this as safely as possible.
