i posted something on my regional board that i didn't realize was not OK to post and now a few people seem a little peeved at me. I really didn't realize but a really nice provider pm'd me and let me know that wasn't something i should've done. So i'd like to say thanks to her, but i don't know what i should do now..... any advice?

you can edit the orginal post and type in subject" self delete" usually that takes care of all my f-ups

=D

request that the Mod of that board either pull it or, if they are a super duper REALLY nice Mod like me (I say that with all of the conflicting modesty and narcissism that I can muster), edit it for you.

We have "Board Administraor" lol

BTW Natalie, as the poster you are are probably referring to. please don't think that anyone is "peeved at you". I certainly am not.

However, your post and your reviews do make me wonder if this business really is for you. I don't mean this harshly, and it is certainly your call to make and not mine, but what you described in your post is just "business as usual" for most providers and nothing terrible at all.

AAR I wish you nothing but the best, and I hope it all works out for you. I one thing I forgot to mention, you certainly are cute, and that goes a long ways in this business, but it is far from a guarantee of success.

well i'm glad that no one is too upset with me :) and thanks for the compliment GaGambler.

I guess i just wasn't used to an experience like that, but now that I've been through it, i will know how to handle myself next time (if there is a next time)

and in the meantime i think I'll just coming back to you guys for help when i need some advice.

And to the ladies that pm'd, Thanks Alot, You all are super helpful

Natalie,

Don't be so hard on yourself...the post wasn't bad.  Granted I didn't quite understand the point but not a big deal.

I hate to say it but from your series of posts over the past few weeks I think you are severely over thinking this thing.  Find what works well, find what you are comfortable with, find what the guys like...and do it over and over again.

I suppose you have to wait a few years but a nice glass of wine to relax won't hurt either!!

It is just on the wrong board.....not a big deal...don't stress over it.

Once you get your third review you need to start asking to be allowed on the "provider only" board.

The appointment scenario you are describing, is just a case of nerves. It sounds as if he was a little nervous as well. We have all been there done that. I still get really nervous seeing a new client....regardless of how many reviews he has or how many whitelists he is on.

I would never advise mentioning a clients name, or any of their personal business on any board, which you did not do.

You are new.  I've read your posts with interest...  you are learning & gaining experience.  This is all good.  You are providing a service, granted...  but you also get (in fact must) set standards for your clients.  It starts with what services you will & will NOT provide.  The conditions (clean sheets)...  the last FBSM I got, the lady was stripping the sheets while I was dressing.  If a client has had 1 or more drinks, do you let him in?  Is it safe?  Is he high?  Most ladies insist NO DRUGS on their premises (which would make them a bigger target for LE).  How do you feel about guys who smoke cigs before an appointment?
I'd suggest you keep some breath mints, so you don't smell them as much (offer him one too).  Do you have an exhaust fan for ventilation (though that'll draw expensive heated air out of your location)?
A Fav lady is a smoker... I am not... yet her location does not smell of smoke.  She must clean her mouth before.  If an extended meeting, she will ask if she can smoke & she goes to the kitchenette with an outside fam & stays away from me.
I have has appointments with smokers when I had to air out my coat & wash my clothing when I got home.
I hope this helps.
