Last night I attended a class entitled “Paying for It –An Evening of Advice from Sex Workers”.  The class cost $5 and was held at “Grand Opening Sexuality Boutique”.  Their website is www.grandopening.com.    The class was actually a reading of excerpts from the book entitled “Paying for It – a guide by sex workers for their clients”.  The book is actually a series of 32 articles written by 26 different people and covers everything from escorts to strippers to Fetish to male escorts to adult porn stars.  Nina Hartley the xxx actress and producer was the most well known of the presenters at the class.  The presentation appeared to be basic guide to newbie clients.  There are also a few pointers that can be picked up by more seasoned hobbyists as well as some providers.  The cost of the book is $13.95 plus tax.

In addition the Grand Opening Sexuality Boutique has a number of workshops that may appeal to the more seasoned hobbyist, providers and SO’s.  There is a workshop on March 15th on pleasuring women, one on April 3rd related to Anal Sex and one on April 27th about basic flogging for urbanites.  These are just a few of the workshops.  You need to go to the website for a complete list.  Each of these workshops cost $25.  In talking with the ladies who run the store the workshops and classes usually end up with 20 or fewer people in attendance.
