Everyone keeps warning newbies against providers who advertise with Back Page.  Is there something problematic with a provider who advertises on BP even if she also also has a dozen or so good reviews on TER (with no negtive reviews)?

A provider who uses BP is not necessarily sketchy.  I know quite a few girls who use BP and I myself am a graduate student looking to regain a foothold in the community and I do not have $$$$ laying around to post VIP or top placement ads on City Vibe, Eros or where ever else girls are posting these days so I go to BP.  Not much has been going on lately (slow) but I have yet to have a bad experience after 8 years off and on and I SCREEN REALLY HARD! LE will not ruin my future.

There are legit well reviewed providers on every ad venue...  and scammers too.  The key is well reviewed.

If the provider you mentioned has positive reviews, then its not problematic to see her on BP. Veterans of this hobby only recommend this to newbs because they know of the consequences of BP providers. Here is only a couple to name: B&W (bait and switch), rip-offs, rushed service, no reviews, and lackluster service. Agencies, Euros, TER, and other well known providers do not post on BP (some may)--they often provide great service and recommend newbs for their first experience to have a general idea of the hobby.

Its good that you know about reviews, they speak volumes of the providers performance and everything in between. From my experience, I do use BP and Agencies alike, I do not discriminate. BP is just way more convenient than agencies or independent providers posting on Euros or TER. Sometimes, you just need a release. Now, from my experience, the majority of my visits from well known agencies surpasses my experiences with providers from BP. I have on the other hand, have encounter lackluster performances from the providers of these agencies. BP however, you have to be careful as to who you chose, make sure you do your research on the provider. I have also had some great and wonderful experiences using BP providers, I would even say that the quality of service is equal to that of agency providers. I can also say that I have had some lackluster providers that made me wish I had stay at home for the night. Agencies are more well established and reputable places to meet providers, BP on the other hand--the demographics varies tremendously. Nothing is wrong with BP, you just have to be cautious about the providers on BP, or you'll end up TOFTT (taking one for the team). Hope I was able to answer your question, feel free to ask me anything that was unclear or uncertain.

not where she advertises.  Lots of touring providers use BP when they're in a different  town.  Nothing wrong with that.

pics of hot girls at low prices with no reviews who turn out to be ripoffs or worse. There are a lot of those on Backpage, and a lot of newbies who fall for their scams. That's what the warnings are all about.

However, there are also a lot of legitimate providers with good reviews who advertise on BP because of all the responses it brings (the good responses, at least). Saying there's something shady about them is like saying you can't trust electricians you find in the Yellow Pages. It's ignorant.

As everyone as said the danger for newbies is looking at hot ads on BP or any other of the ad sites and believing them. All the ladies I have seen have had ads at one time on BP or its kind. But I checked them all out on TER first. Most times now I check the new reviews first and then look at the BP ad. I got tired of searching thru all the risky non reviewed ladies on BP. If you search back on this board it is littered with guys who looked at a hot picture first and then came back moaning she was not reviewed but looked so hot and then telling of the terrible time they had. While LE is a concern the by far bigger risk you take by just looking at pictures is you will have a terrible experience. What we say is find a well reviewed provider and don't worry where her ad is.

I use EVERYTHING (bp, ter, eccie, mpg, nr, date-check, p411, avenue-x, bgfe, tbd, you name it lol). I have about 21 reviews (18 I claim) and most are decent to pretty good  with extremely complimentary details.

Main thing if you're a hobbyist that's new or seasoned is to have VIP and read reviews. BP is one of MANY sites for us ladies to advertise on. Where she advertises doesn't change her.  BP is just an easier target to bash or scare guys away from since CL shut down.

LOL... right? I also use a HUGE venue of advertising options, from BP to datecheck. BP is only sketchy when the providers up there look TGTBT, with no reviews, etc..  a provider advertising on BP with reviews makes your job a hellva lot easier:)

What they are warning about are the risks of booking with providers that are not reviewed

Mistakenly, that warning is presented as 'providers on Backpage.' Before that the warning was 'providers on Craiglist.'

Advertising on Backpage has absolutely NOTHING to do with a provider's credibility.

Every provider I see, advertises on BP in my area. They also have reviews.
