if u see an expensive provider who has great (old) reviews but provides a fairly ordinary service , and asks not to be reviewed (prior to the session) ... what is the right thing to do .... do u protect her or do u let your fellow reviewers know ?! esp . when there are better options ?

reviewers to get more information?

You can get the best of both worlds by honoring her request by not writing a review but posting on your regional board that you saw her and to PM you for more information since she doesn't want a review.

If she is a provider who is connected in your area you might want to honor her wishes. She could be vindictive and put you on a blacklist or worse.

The fact that she asked not to be reviewed before the session is key. Now if she was having a crappy day and gave you a crappy experience and then at the end asked not to be reviewed is one thing. But you went into the session relying on old reviews and already knowing she didn't want to be reviewed.

I would cut your loses and move on. Now if she did something out of line in the session that is dangerous, disgusting, not what you expected(upcharges etc) then I would let your local community know.

While I understand some providers want to stay under the radar but if I were a hobbyist it might be a little red flag if she doesn't want reviews. I always welcome reviews and in the past 4months no one has written one for me :(

...I refrain from even contacting girls who have not been reviewed in over a year in the first place.

I believe it is relatively simple, if the experience was bad, then review at your own risk, if the experience was good then review for certain!  (Unless it was good and she asked not to be reviewed...then I don't know.)

If she has not been reviewed in over a year, I just assume her service went downhill and people just decided not to review her, instead of risking the wrath of her scorn.  Eh, take it as you will...not like any of my reviews have been approved yet, but then, mods are enjoying their weekends and I did drop them all in at the same time...

I think the first thing to do is protect yourself...   Do not piss her off.   Does she know your ID & your review handle?   If so it could bite you in the butt.   Ussually providers do not mention reviews so it seems she suspects you participate on a review site.

IF you feel others need to be warned, then I would write a draft of the review NOW.  Save it in a secure place & hold it.  You can submitt for 90 days!!  a very long time, really.   Wait a month, read it over & submitt a fair review.   It may be too soon to write a fair review if you are dissapointed.  Let that mellow a little.

I have to ask, did she ask, "no reviews" prior to your going to the session?  Or upon arrival, when you are basically already committed, just have not begun yet...  The former, you had an agreement to not review as a condition of the meeting.  If the latter, she sprung it on you as a change of agreement which put you at an unfair disadvantage.

I have seen & continue to see mature providers...   who put the effort in to rock my world.  I've seen younger providers who have lost the enthusiasm...  nope, not seeing them anymore.

And had a great time. Many reason why ladies don't have reviews in a year. Some take time off, because of family or work issues, some ladies decide to see only regulars and therefore don't get reviewed. I've even emailed a lady and asked what happened. She replied with a plausible answer and i booked time with her. Another time a providers last review was by a hobby friend of mine and I trusted his opinion. And BTW, mods don't approve reviews.

As to the op, your post is good reason why some hobbyist prefer to hobby in anonymity, and refuse to give out their TER handle

Lack of recent reviews is not a sure sign of anything.

For a highly successful lady with a good number of regulars, a new review is often nothing but trouble. It can generate tons of email inquiries - most of which will lead nowhere. Hours and hours of back-and-forth with guys who will never end up seeing her. If her schedule is filled, new reviews are unhelpful. If her lack of recent reviews causes you to avoid her, she is just fine with that decision.

Review her.  If she wants to get paid as a professional service provider, then she should expect to be evaluated as one.  She doesn't get to pick and choose her reviews any more than a restaurant gets to ask a restaurant reviewer to avoid mentioning that the fish wasn't cooked or the pubic hair in the desert.  A bad performance is a bad performance.  Any quality provider of any service will regret the failing and strive to do better.  Those that do not, should be out of business.

If she complains about you or blacklists you, that is further evidence of unprofessional behavior.

I know this sounds harsh.  But it's for everyone's own good.  You don't want other guys wasting their money on suboptimal experiences, do you?  And in the long run only high professionalism by providers is going to lift the stigma from prostitution and lead to decriminalization in the U.S.  Don't let a few bad apples ruin the whole bushel.

Review her.

If she's had good reviews before, she knows what she's doing.  We all have bad days.  If this was one for her, she'll recover.  Her career isn't over.  But if she's just not interested in the job enough to compete anymore (there are a lot of beautiful skilled women out there), then maybe it's time for her to move on.  That day comes some time for everyone.

I have asked multiple times for gentleman to review me - and am often turned down. He says "I don't do them", "I don't do them because then I can be traced", "I like to stay off the radar" etc...

Lack of reviews is not a good indicator of ANYTHING.

She asked not to be reviewed before anything took place.

In my short career, I only asked for a review once and someone wrote one for me without my asking. I asked for the first one thinking it "had" to be done. The second was written by a grateful client without my saying a word. I don't approve of them, never did, but figured that there is always something in any job that I won't like. Reviews happen to be my bugaboo.

I simply never mentioned them again to any client and as a result received only the two in 18 months. I've never regretted that choice.

Its been nearly a year since my last review on TER. Yet I've been quite active throughout that time, and my service most definitely has not gone downhill. In the last month alone, I've gotten half a dozen new reviews on another review site that is more commonly used in my area. Additionally, I put a premium on cultivating a base of regulars. Easily 90% of my business comes from gentlemen who have been seeing me for years, many of whom reviewed me long ago.

There are many reasons for long gaps in reviews, declining service doesn't even make the Top 5 reasons. Most gentlemen are not at all shy about writing an honest review when their experience does not live up to expectations. Over the course of a year, someone is going to step up to the plate and write the first bad review.

Finally, mods only moderate the boards, they have no input into approving reviews.

I did not intend to mean that no one should see her, I was referring to my personal preference.  If she was gone for a while and returned, then eventually someone will post a new review, right?

Yes, and no, someone has veto power on reviews after all. I flubbed one up, but I saw her again today and wrote a new one.

As I said, though, my personal preference is to cultivate relationships with two or three companions at a time and when it comes time to replace a companion (or in the case that I was gone from the hobby for 9 years and had to start all over) I looked for companions with recent reviews.  It's my personal preference.  I have no problem, occasionally, taking one for the team or even calling someone who interests me who had no reviews or has not had a review in years - but AFTER I find my three girls first!  That way, if I have a bad experience with the new one, maybe one of the three is available to make it up to me, eh?

Dear Highheelbarbie:
What do you think would be the underlying motivation for not wanting one to review you which you said that could cause some pause for suspicion? Also one has to wonder if she has a lot of skeletons to hide and by writing a review that would shed light on what she would be doing and how she is living and conducting business. Also maybe she says this and uses the blacklist as a reprisal to ensure that hobbyist don't expose and reveal her for what she really is as a business person and a human being. Also that is a way that providers would promote and grow their business is by reviews which would serve as referrals. However what makes you suspicious is that she would say and do this because if anyone knew how she really was then she would have to get a different way or change her identity to continue her practice in the business of social and sexual practices.  However I am sure that you can go on other boards and discuss her other than here and sooner or later word will get out.

Dear Renae:
I believe that you are encountering hobbyist that enjoy their time with you but feel that they're in a sensitive part of society where they would be highly visible. However that does seem antithetical since that is the reason that they have screen names for.  Perhaps you need to seek out known hobbyist who do write and perhaps give a small financial incentive to them to give you a review. Thus they would want to because of the system here and there was another site who used to do that at one time as well for time. Then when you find a person that would have 50 to 200 reviews then that person would have credibility in the community and eventually economic times will ameliorate for you. Look and see who would be some of the top reviewers and ask them that question after you read some of there reviews and the body types of woman that they would gravitate to.  Then you know that you would have a good chance of your abilities and exploits being chronicled and your demand should hopefully increase with that.
