Hello all.

I have a question about booking providers. I don't have a P411 account yet, but have some good references so I can have one set up.  You don't need to provide your full name for P411, just first name and last digits of an ID.
I see that most providers who have an online booking form ask for REAL FULL NAME.  
I am extremely hesitant to provide this info, especially given the recent Ashley Madison data breach.
I don't care if their website is https or not, I don't want to put in my full name.
Sure, I'll show my ID when we meet. But isn't P411 enough for proof that I am not LE?

If you don't want to give your full name, don't. See only those ladies who don't require it. Don't whine about not being able to see those who require your full real name.

FYI, captcha (or a question to answer) is necessary to reduce spam being sent through the form.

I'd say about half, maybe less, of the clients I see provide me with a last name even though I don't ask for one.

Is that true?  That p411 doesn't ask for a last name?  I thought they did get that, at least.

If you see well-reviewed ladies, I don't think you have to worry about it.

I'm not sure what the difference is in not providing it, but showing your ID at the door.  But most providers just want you to have a good time and come back to see them again. AND to know that you are safe to see, which belonging to p411 tells me, personally.  

If I see a newbie p411 member I will share their info with my assistant, but I still feel pretty secure because of the screening p411 does.

...and it wasn't a problem. But I did make sure to give her every other bit of info that she asked for.

The connection between the Ashley Madison breach and the potential for a breach of an individual provider's page is tenuous at best. A.M. is a major company with millions of names and millions of dollars in play. That makes them a lucrative target. A provider's website is not and, unless someone skilled in such matters is personally offended, will fly under their radars. Furthermore, A.M. retains the information, whereas providers are not supposed to. This doesn't mean they don't, but the site itself should not have that info one way or the other unless you have, for some odd reason, created an account on their site.  

As for P411, unless things have changed in the short amount of time since I applied, they do require your full legal name. If you're worried about a data breach they would be a bigger target than a provider's site.

In terms of giving your full legal name to a provider . . . well, as they always say around here nothing is risk free. Having said that, however, unless you're a celebrity, a politician, or someone worth blackmailing I don't see why anybody would care (other than LE, of course, but that's different).

Hence, in my particular case I do need to get your full name and check your driver's license. Plus it has been mentioned that P411 is not as safe as most people think for providers. There was two famous episodes in Nashville and Denver where P411 accounts were compromised by LE, yes P411 was proactive about investigating but apparently the damage was done already.  

You are free to see whoever you want, tons of ladies out there who do not require lots of info or even not info at all, but again that is the risk both parties are taking, I prefer to take calculated risk by knowing exactly who am I meeting in order to feel comfortable. Reputable upscale providers have no obscure intentions about divulging your identity or extorting you, it is just the simple principle of safety and comfort that allows us to enjoy our time with you.

I never, ever fill out that form. I send the info, sans last name, by email.

The girl has every right to ask, but I've never been pressed for it when they have other ways to verify me.

You are correct to be worried about breaches and to not give out such personal info.

Don't ever give a girl a hard time about it if she insists as she is just looking out for her personal safety, just say you don't provide that info, too many other girls don't need it, and move on to the next girl on your list.

Too many guys here over the years have been fked over by a BSC gal who decided to get her kicks by Fking a guys life over.

Thankfully, this is a very small percentage of girls who will do so, as most are trustworthy, but why take the risk?

P411 alone is sufficient verification for some ladies, and insufficient for others. Personally, I only entrust myself with my safety and am not comfortable relying on a third party for that. There are tons of things that we worry about aside from LE, and everyone is entitled to screen/be screened to their individual comfort level. I'm fine if someone doesn't want to give me their name, all I ask is for those folks to move on to someone else.  

 
And just as a side note (this isn't directed at the OP, just some of the responses to this thread), when clients start having photos of themselves and detailed descriptions of their sexual encounters posted on the internet, then we can exchange IDs. This whole "well the ladies should have to show their IDs if we have to show ours" argument is just asinine.

Then there are no forms with your real name on it. Quite honestly, you can always say someone was playing a prank on you if it ever comes up...

A lot of ladies will accommodate your needs for relaying the information. I know P411 or not, many will still need real info.  

No P411 isn't only not proof you're not LE, but it's also not proof that one day you won't flip out and do something crazy. The name holds you accountable.

Many girls are fine with the P411 references, but don't be surprised if a girl asks for that info even scheduling via P411. For some, P411 is verification for the ladies more than men, and its also another form of advertising. Not always just screening. For some? Yes. But I've moved on from dates because of the no name thing.

Cooperation with screening can also give you a good start if any other problems occur with screening, such as pissed off sugar babies getting mad that you're seeing her client.

I am very careful about telling ladies I'm seeing a client they say, and prefer other forms of screening, such as real info so I can do my own homework.

I don't entrust my safety and financial future to some woman across the country who doesn't give two shits about me. Nor do I expect her to care about any of that. Referrals are a courtesy but definitely not my first choice in verification that a guy isn't going to rob me or hurt me.

Like you said, if there was ever an issue you just say you have no idea.  Maybe someone was pranking me.  Even if you did fill out the form you can always say it was a joke.    

The key is researching the provider well.  Once that is done, you should be able to assess whether it is worth it to fill out the form.
