Okay, since I'm a newbie the most I can handle right now are the AMPs. Plus, I really like a good massage. All the extras are a great plus. What's holding me back is this fear of LE. I live in a big metro area (DC) and there are about 20 AMPs within 10 miles of me. I've even looked at some police reports for my county in VA and have seen nothing about busts. I understand the process; pay for the massage, don't link any extras with money and give a generous tip at the end. I'm My fear is getting busted. Am I paranoid? If I play by the rules, it should be safe, right?
but to be sure, read through the Newbie Manual (Self Help Manual) and follow the protocalls.
At one time AMPS were a pretty safe bet, but lately there has been a lot of busts of them. If you do go to AMPS, pick one that's been around for a long time. It shows that they are somehow connected and can withstand LE.
If you stick with well reviewed providers and follow the rules, the odds of LE ruining your day are pretty nil.
Your paranoia is warranted. However, the likelihood of getting caught up in a sting is not that good and an acceptable risk. That's the way "I" look at it. I have been frequenting AMPS for about 10 years. Some of the AMPS that I had visited in years past had been busted at one time or another. Some reopen shop, some just fade away. In NYC there are 5 times the amount of AMPS that DC has. Same with LA. I also look at the law of averages. You never know when LE will be conducting a raid and whether or not you can even be charged with a crime. There are risks in the hobby no matter if they are independents, agencies or AMPS. You either accept the risks or get into another hobby.
Where is there a list of abbreviations for newbies. Some of them I get and others I am still scratching my head. What is AMPS and LE? I need a little help to follow the train of thought. Please give me a sign? Thanks in advance!
