When posting an "ISO" inquiry what is TER policy? I hobby in both NY and NJ, therefore I posted in both boards. TER removed my post claiming it was spam since I posted in multiple boards... If there a better way of posting that follows TER policy ?
but feel free to do it again. I think their idea is that they don't want the regional boards cluttered with ISO posts, but the problem is on the ISO board harldly anyone reads it so the posts don't get seen or don't get answered quick enough, and the poster would usually get better responses on the regional boards. Plus so many regioal boards are dead anyway, that ISO posts would not do much cluttering.
Then there is the other issue of the posts from the regional boards getting moved to ISO with no statement saying "moved from xxx board" so you have no clue where the person is looking. another case where leaving them on the regional board is probably better.
When I was a moderator, we were told to move ISO posts on regional boards to the ISO board, which I did. The prob with this was many times, guys who posted an ISO on a regional board did not indicate where they were. So when it got moved to the ISO board, no one had a clue where they were.
SO, guys if you post an ISO on a regional board, expect it to get moved, and be sure to say where you are looking so you can get appropriate answers to your question.
Don't know if it would work or not. Only way to see would be give it a try.
Post what you are looking for on the ISO Board, including your location. Then post on your local board asking that providers check your post on the ISO Board.
it does seem as if posts on ISO board don't get a lot of attention. Also, what is odd, after I checked some regional boards, there are guys posts "looking " for a certain providers or services, the post doesn't have ISO in the subject line, but these posts get to remain.. whereas if you post ISO.. it gets moved to the ISO board. But technically speaking, aren't these the same type of inquiries ? just my .02
