This comes up frequently, and I routinely direct questions to the site's administration. Since newbies may also not know how to find the denial reason for their post, I'm hoping this will provide some clarification...
I realize that it's frustrating to be new. Ladies are afraid of the unknown, so getting that first appointment is tough. You finally break through, have an incredible time and want to tell the world. Realizing that it's bad dinner conversation with the family, writing a review is a great alternative. Then, those dirty bastards at TER don't allow it. So, you come to this board to blow off some steam, and little phil (asshole that he is) doesn't approve your post. See, I really do understand. But, understanding aside, here's the real logic I use when denying your post. First, the readers on the board can't fix it. We can feel badly for you, and even give you words of consolation, but if you can't get the first review posted, are you likely to write another? The administration of the site looks through the postings here, but not every post every day. By contacting the site's administration, they will get the message and may look differently at your situation. I'm not saying that it will change the outcome, but I'm certain that posting here definitely won't. On rare occasions I'll see a post that's so "out there" that I'll forward it directly to Admin (did it just yesterday).
So, I'm trying to help you use the site more appropriately for your own benefit. It's not that difficult to deny posts, so I'm not really out anything for it. The site has been good to me over the years, and I hope that you'll find it to be for you as well.
But a good explanation, nonetheless. for the guys. Just that our newbie providers also deal with the frustration of getting that first review posted and they might appreciate an explanation of that process as well. Obviously, the "purrfect storm" is when a newbie hobbyist reviews a newbie provider!
...they can go to "My TER" and click on "My Reviews" to get any feedback on why a review wasn't posted. I'm not sure everyone realizes this. Some may think that if their review wasn't posted, it was flat out rejected and "case closed". Not true.
BTW, Number One reason for "Unapproved" is "not enough juicy details"; so simply take a lesson from the MP school of linguistics and add a few more "fucks"! LOL
Fix them, edit them, etc. If rejected because you are both new... try reviewing a already reviewed provider. Then try resubmitting the other reviews (within the 90 days, of course). skb
