i recently watched a documentary on NY Confidential, a former NYC escort agency, and they mentioned something about not hiring girls who have escort experience. but they're not the only ones. I've heard other agencies do this too. To me, it doesn't make any sense. usually companies hire people with experience cause they know what they're doing. you would think the same applies to escort work.

Simple. Once girls have experience they tend to prefer working as an independent provider. They get more freedom when scheduling and they get to keep all of the money.  Those that do choose to work with an agency even after they know the ropes demand a higher share of the hourly rate and are more likely to be picky about how long they work or how many guys they have to see a day.  They are also more likely yo try and steal customers from the agency...

I think it must be a generalization because I can think of two exceptions right now ... but I don't know if I'm supposed to post them. Well, one is already well known by their own public announcement: Brianna / Bri in Boston was indy and is now a part of RSG. (Read Boston Board for more detailed info.)

The other one I'm thinking of went from $$$.5VIP indy to a $$$$$+VIP Agency.

our local agencies do hire some truly "fresh" talent. Usually 18-22 years of age. Cute fresh PYTs for sport fucking.

However

they also present many ladies in their later 20s and thirties who work in other areas for other agencies or who are actually independents who prefer to use agencies as an entree to new markets or to facilitate increasing their income through travel.

My advice is to ignore anything you read or see about the hobby that comes from the MSM. The information you get right here on TER is a hundred times more reliable than any sensationalist crap you are ever going to see on TV.
