Can anyone tell me what the deal is with these places? How do you inquire about what services are offered? What about fees? I have used escorts before, so I know how to navigate that arena, but I would like to get comfortable with the massage parlors.

I'd stick with well reviewed Independents, or top agencies. AMPs are not a smart place for Newbies to get their dicks wet. Easy to get ripped off, upsold, or busted.

I don't know the previous poster, or their agenda, but they are full of s**t.

AMPs are actually a very good "gateway" into the hobby. They are much less expensive than a "well-reviewed provider" or a "top agency," and their services are almost guaranteed. Negotiation is usually not needed, only the correct dollar amount.

A table shower, followed by a full-body massage, leading to a happy ending either by hand or mouth (depending on the parlor and the girl), is a great introduction into the hobby.

I bet "Arrest Me Please" is a full-service provider who hates the lower-cost competition of the AMPs...

Upselling, haggling, and B&S are common for many AMPs. They are NO place for a Newbie. I stand firmly by my post, and I'm NOT  a provider.

AMPS are, or perhaps better to say were, wonderful places to get started.

No appointments, lots of gorgeous inexpensive gals and often a great massage too.

But in the last few years, LE has really taken a toll on these once flourishing places.  Now I would have to agree with the comment that you face a heightened risk of being busted if you go to an AMP.  In the northeast, this is especially true around Boston and in Connecticut.  Providence RI, however, is still going strong; for how long is the only question.

The illegal alien angle is the latest thing to come and bust up AMPS.  My favorite just got bust six months ago and I still haven't heard from her.  We've know each other ten years.

I hope she didn't get deported. These stupid TV shows alleging "sex slavery" don't help either.

One other point back on topic. Even with "upselling" at an AMP the experience is still very affordable in comparison with a "regular" escort. Even if there are no other services available the worst that will happen is you'll get a very enjoyable massage for 40-60 bucks.
