That may be difficult..

I am just getting started into the hobby and as I was going through my basic research, I noticed that the provider hasn't been reviewed on TER.  When asked about it she mentioned that she was very new to the hobby and hadn't been reviewed yet.

I definitely don't want to be scammed, bait-n-switched, etc., but a bigger fear is visiting the graybar motel.

I've noticed many providers with only 1 review, so someone at some point had to TOFTT and try them right?

In case you are wondering, I am not sure how often I will be partaking in the hobby, so i wanted to try it once or twice before I made the leap into the big VIP membership.  Not sure if this is for me yet.

Make sure the reviewers themselves have more than a few reviews under their belt. It'd even better if the gal has 10+ reviews with a few respected reviewers thrown in. Don't accept the excuse "I'm new" from a gal. There are too many well reviewed gals.

If you stick with a well reviewed provider, you will most likely to have a good time with her. However, if you feel generous, you can certainly TOFTT.

When he has been here for some time & has reviewed many providers. BTW, I don't consider 4 reviews to be many. You need to set your own criteria/definition/limitation. Good luck.

If you're the one to give her her first review, she will probably be very grateful, not so grateful as to give you a freebie, but certainly she will remember you.

But I agree that for your first experience, go with someone who has several good reviews from fellows who have reviewed several ladies.  Later, when you know some of the ins and outs you might like to try a new lady.  There are some undiscovered pearls waiting!  If you use the big head and this board, you can avoid many of the b&s/rip-off situations.

The excuse that you're not sure if this hobby is for you and you're going to try it out before you buy VIP doesn't make sense.

If you've got the money to try this out once or twice, you've got the $20 to buy the VIP.  If you don't have the $20 extra to buy VIP, this hobby isn't for you, not even once or twice.

It's not as if you have to make a long term commitment to a VIP membership.  But a month and then cancel it if hobbying isn't for you.

But, going without VIP for the first couple of times is just silly.  Being new is *exactly* when I used my VIP membership the most!

TOFTT. There will be plenty of opportunities for that later. Your first experience should be one that you will remember fondly, not one that you look back at and think, WTF did I do that for.

Find a lady who is well reviewed. If you look at enough websites, you will even find ladies who say that they welcome newcomers.

TER is still not allowing a Newbie with no reviews to post a review on a lady with no reviews. Yes, we all know that did happen the other day, but if you look that review was taken down.

Thanks for all the tips.

To Fox58, I didn't know there was a monthly option.  You are right, $20 isn't a huge investment.

I have a good friend who is new to the hobby as well and she has no reviews either, however, I have spoken for her on a few occasions for gentlemen who wish just to know if she is legit or not. While I can guarantee that she is not LE and that she is in fact the girl who is advertising it is up to her to deliver the goods....and boy does she. While I don't mind in the least speaking for her until she gets reviews I really wish someone WOULD review her so she could have more respectability as a provider.

That is just my $.02

If I'd known about TER, I'd have skipped the B&S and spent my donation on someone reviewed.
