It is very annoying when the screener is unprofessional. They ask for references. I send references. I don't hear back.
I don't know if they are still checking references or just decided not to do anything. I write a follow-up text and no reply. This is bad service, even if it is not by the provider, and I don't want those people to get more business. Can I write a negative review?
You can warn others on your local board but be aware that maybe your references could of been negative (not saying is the case, just a possibility) and maybe the screener rather just not deal with it right now.. Also, sometimes guys are blacklisted (again, a possibility).. I know you would like to find out reasons and so on but if things start on the negative side for you and If you feel she is unprofessional then maybe you need to move on to another provider...
by a local, to me, provider after driving almost an hour to get to her. What you can do is the same as I did, post about it on your local board and have people PM you for her name. I also posted on this forum, as I am the host of the newbie board.
You're new, don't have much street cred right now. If you post and mention the assistant and providers name, you'll be in hot water with local providers, simply for complaining about something that is somewhat common behavior, which is to ignore hobbyists, for reasons you'll never know. If you post and don't name names, hobbyists will say it's a useless post. Everyone was new at one time, so my simple advice is to move on.
"Bad Service" as you call it, is unfortunately part of the hobby. It happens to everyone. If you let this type of behavior upset you, then you might not be suited for this. My advice look for a provider that's newbie friendly.

I definitely felt sympathetic and sided with OP until you posted this explanation. Thanks for that, it's solid advice especially since I'm used to having friends set up dates with girls or agencies that they know, and am probably still considered new when it comes to setting up dates myself.
You want to review the provider for what the screener (non provider) did? How about what her boyfriend did? Her child? Cmon. I screen for many ladies and have for years. If we feel you are a time wasting fool or your refs are bogus, you're lucky not to get a reply calling you out on it. Not saying you fall into that category, but you have no reviews attached to your handle, so maybe they think you're full of shit on the refs.
Were these so called legit refs backpage girls with zero cred or did they have a website and TER reviews...most of us are not going to accept the former.
