I'm going to become a lesbian!  The risks are low, as you point out, and I get to have sex with women.  How can it get any better than that?

I'm still very new to all this and this is only my 2nd post but, I've found that in many of the VIP reviews there seems to be alot of DATY and BBBJ. Aren't providers and hobbyists concerned about HIV?

I'm very concerned about HIV.

My clients have shown me papers confirming that they're HIV-negative, and that they've been tested on a regular basis.

I had to stop talking to one guy because he admitted that he had HIV. I told him that I'm not doing ANYTHING with him, even if he used the rubber.

He would've been the biggest liability to my career. Not worth losing my good health.

is that the risk of HIV transmission via oral sex is very low since the virus is transmitted through blood and blood based fluids, like semen, but not saliva.  (I am not a doctor, do not claim to be a doctor, just relating what I have read).

Studies have yet to find a significant number of cases of HIV transmission via unprotected oral sex, (some studies haven't found any!).  Of course, you will be hard pressed to find someone that is HIV positive who can honestly, and verifiable say that unprotected oral sex was their only risky activity.  The sites that quote these results, are also quick to point out that there are a number of other STD's that can be transmitted by either giving, or receiving oral sex.

Responsible providers and hobbyists have themselves tested regularly.  In the current climate, it is usually easy, cheap, and covered by insurance (if you have it).

BTW. many gals are concerned - BBBJ may be on offer to prime the pump, but I know some that will back off when you you are ready to cum, and finish you off with a hand-job.  BBBJ is not the same as CIM.

Also, I know many gals who have who have checked out, and cleaned up my equipment before deciding how to continue.  Before going down on her, you will also what to take a more diagnostic, scientific look.

Thanks for the replies. From what I understand,  the testing isn't effective outside of a six month window from the time of the exposure. Hope everyone stays happy, healthy, and safe.

Oral sex is generally safer sex, and especially DATY (come on why do you think lesbians have the lowest incidences of all STIs?) to my knowledge there has never been a confirmed case of HIV from cunnilingus, giving or receiving, and the possibility of HIV from fellatio is very low.

Though if you look at what one can get from giving  or receiving BBBJ vs what one can get from giving or receiving DATY, I think those that wonder why ladies will do CBJ but allow DATY might understand the difference...but then again I think their argument isn't so much they don't understand the risks they just want BBBJ and think they can talk a lady into it if they claim it doesn't make sense...except facts don't support their theory.
