However, you have to buy at least a Quarterly Membership.
To answer your question directly, I believe any store card with Visa or Mastercard logo can be used as if a regular debit card. Just check with store clerk. I have personally never used prepaid store cards, but I have filled them up and given them to providers as donations. The said providers never mentioned that they had any problems using them.
The only store bought prepaid gift card I have been able to pay successfully with was a MasterCard GiftCard issued by RBS bank. Every other one I tried failed. Sometimes because they don't support international and sometimes they don't support internet (even after registering the card) and sometimes you don't know why.
I haven't been able to find any of these RBS cards in about a year now in my area. Don't know if still available or if its a regional thing.
Might have something to do with the international billing. Also I thought cash was cheaper. The credit card monthly rate was listed at 30, and the cash quarterly rate was 75 (25 per month). Your link shows 25/month for CC, so I don't know if they changed it again, or if you are getting a special rate. At one time they were grandfathering older members st 25, but charging new members 30. But there was also a glitch where if you logged in through "classic" it was 25.
In any case, you may have to try a few cards to see which (if any) work. Seems like cash would be easier.
Just a side note. I am a provider new to business who was using Greendot to post on backpage. The little $5 adds on Backpage caused greendot to close all 3 of my cards and corresponding accounts with only a few days notice to use the balance on each before they cut and mailed me a check. Apparently, $5 adds on backpage are not compliant. well, hmmph.
Those cards worked the last time I tried but I have noticed a new disclaimer on their site that international transactions won't be processed anymore due to new regulations. Still worth a try however.
You need to activate the card on the website first and make sure the AVS you use when getting the membership is the same as when you activate the card. The numbers of the address, zip code and CVV have to match.
Don't see why your debit card won't work. It could be as simple as making sure your account has enough $$$ or you calling your bank and telling them that you are trying to make a purchase with XXXX company based in Europe for XXXX dollars and ask them to allow the transaction through. Your billing address information when you signup for the membership will still have to that on your debit card account.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
