Can anybody enlighten me about Unapproved reviews? I'm still fairly new to this but half of the reviews I've submitted have been Unapproved, meaning they aren't posted for others to read and learn. It also means I do not receive credit for the review, nor can I benefit from reading "Unapproved" reviews submitted by others. I find this frustrating. It's my understanding reviews are Unapproved if the provider has been delisted (broken TER rules) or requests that TER post no reviews about her. I have no problem if a provider does not want TER exposure. But shouldn't we all have an opportunity to learn about problem providers? There are several options under the Search drop down menu such as Ripoffs and Something to Hide. Seems to me these delisted providers could be listed under one of those headings or a new heading titled "Delisted". This would alert us about potentially troublesome providers and save us wasted time and money. I'd be interested to hear from others on this subject or to be told of any TER feature that I've missed that would help.
There are many reasons for a review to be unapproved and not all have to do with the provider's status. You may have written something they don't allow or not given enough juicy details or any number of other things. Click on the My TER tab, upper left. Then click on My Reviews (to the far left). Look across to the far right and see what it says under "Status". You say it say Unapproved. It may say more, I'm not sure about that. Click on View (black box on the left) your review will open. See if there are any notes from the review approval people as to what needs fixing. There is some communication from TER to tell you why the review is unapproved. You can go to "contact us" and send a question to TER and ask why the review is unapproved. There are things you can do to get the thing approved. Don't just leave it unapproved. I know of a member that had several unapproved. When he finally checked out why it was an easy fix and he now has them all approved and posted.
Hi there,
Actually, she is both Tia and Armani. I texted both of them and only Tia responded. When she got to me, she told me that she posts under both names to drum up more business.
But, to fit in better with the site, I'll amend it to be only Tia.
Thanks,

If there is a provider you wish to see, but has no reviews you try back channeling with hobbyists and providers in your area. In BWI of MD, and Crabtree of NC after while you'll start to notice guys by ter names who review providers. If you have VIP, you simply send a few PMs' out guys with that provider's info from links to her ads', and ask if anyone has seen her.
Also if you start to be cool with some providers, you can ask them sometime they can verify for you. In both cases both parties need to know they can trust.
he is probably correct in that your unapproved reviews have nothing to do with delisting. It could be simple things that an easy fix will cure. But you do need to contact TER to work it out.
On the other hand if it is due to delisting, they should tell you that too. But then you have no recourse. you can't even post on the boards about it. (There are other review sites besides TER. They can't be named here but you may be able to post reviews or read reviews on other sites for ladies delisted here) A delisted provider can not be mentioned on ter at all. And no, there is no "list" of "delisted" providers. I guess in their eyes, that would defeat the purpose of delisting. So there is no way for us to know who is delisted. If they are a "ripoff," then their reviews would be published, but otherwise, good or bad reviews will not be published for "delisted" ladies. If you only stick to well reviewed ladies, then it is not a problem. If you are a tofft guy who wants to share your finds with others, then it is a problem because you cannot share on a delisted lady. it is what it is, and that rule has been around probably since the beginning of ter, so I don't really see it changing. Anyway good luck with your unapproved reviews. Hopefully it is not a delisted thing and it turns out to be something else and you can get it cleared up and printed. ![]()
Thanks very much for the advice. My first two reviews were Unapproved because the providers were delisted. I suppose this can be written off as part of the learning experience, but it sure would be nice if TER would give us some kind of alert about these providers before we partake. I feel the lack of information helps keep poor providers in business. Both of these delisted providers gave substandard service and my reviews reflected that. Nobody will benefit from my reviews, just as I was unable to benefit from the unapproved reviews that have no doubt been posted by others. That seems wrong to me. I agree that waiting for a review to be posted before proceeding is best, but somebody has to be the first.
My third unapproved review might have a chance as the reason it was declined was lack of the provider's name in her website ad. I'll work on fixing that. Once again I greatly appreciate the advice on this subject.
Re expecting TER to alert you if a provider you wish to see has been delisted, I think you're expecting too much. This falls under doing your homework. As a Newbie you should limit yourself to well-reviewed providers. So anyone you see should have a link to their TER and other reviews on their ad or web site that you can simply click on. If you can't do that, move on.
PS: there are other sites that may accept your reviews if you've saved them. Re that, you have a PM.
if you had done your research properly, you would have known that the providers were delisted. It would bebnice, but TER admin does not have time to announce every delisted provider to the general populace of the site. There is probably a very good reason why they were delisted. Since they are delisted, it's fairly unlikely that anyone is going to see them anyway.

You lost me here. Unless I submit a review that is rejected by TER, how would I know these providers were delisted? Best I can tell no amount of research will reveal that bit of info.
Go to reviews, then you do a search for their profiles. If they are delisted, you will get a msg that their profiles are no long available.

Edit them, fix any issues & resubmitt.
