Hi everyone.  I have just been put in the position of moderator of this board.  I will try to keep things moving along peacefully, hope you will do the same.  As I am new to this moderating life, I will prob make mistakes, so please have some tolerance until I get the feel of how things work.

This is a forum to help the new hobbyists and providers join our wonderful community.  Let's all try to keep it that way.  I will try to follow little phil's philosophy regarding posts as I develop my own.

Feel free to ask me anything, I will try to answer in a timely fashion.

I will try to do the best job I can.  little phil, will be hard to follow, but I hope I can fill his 'little shoes'.  sorry phil, could not resist.  You really did a wonderful job as mod here, and I hope I can do as well.

Please go easy on the new guy.  This is an easy board to moderate in some ways, and miserably difficult in others.  I was finding it increasingly challenging to answer the same questions again & again while maintaining a smile.  A special thanks to all the long time users that kept me as sane as I am.  (Remember, no nasty comments on the happy board, lol).

I also issue the following challenge to any new poster...use the search function first, and the post new message last.  I made the same mistake in '04 when I made my first post on one of the regional boards.  I got some pretty nasty replies which I've never really forgotten.  This board is a great place to get your feet wet in a safe and friendly way.

I've enjoyed your posts on this board and your helpful attitude when I was a newbie (actually, perhaps I still am).  Good luck and I'll try to keep being helpful.  As for "little phil's philosophy regarding posts," now you're scaring me!  What is it?  I thought it was "kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out."
