Thanks for the clarification because there is some confusion about the "good review" versus "any review." Even then, I'm just an addle brained hobbyist who always up on the nuances so I count on Perfectstorm, xyz, Admin and others to keep me from too far off base. . You do have to admit that putting a time limit on any promo is a good idea and a lot better than risking future earnings by issuing a discount coupon that never expires.

This is not allowed, as it is considered bribing/bartering.
As stated by others; Discounts are allowed to be offered to TER Members, but, not as reciprocation for any review (ie: submitted in past or future)
What about my suggestion to include "experienced TER members" or "active TER members" or some other verbiage to try to limit the discount to guys that would more dependably write a review (than just some random basic member who has no reviews and 3 posts in 6 years).
I have been around for awhile and as much as I really love to be reviewed I can't seem to get a new review to save my life and I know you can't just flat out ask for them on your ads on certain sites. My business is good but it could be great any advice would be great!
You just can't give anything of value for a GOOD review on TER (e.g. offer a discount), and you can't advertise that kind of offer.
This question comes up here every so often. Common suggestions are to offer specials for TER members, then when you see them ask them if they'd give you a fair review. You can also mention in your ads that you would really appreciate new reviews on TER--just don't say anything about wanting "good" reviews. Offering a discount in an ad for a review is within the rules, but rules aren't always enforced consistently so it's a bit of a risk to do that.
Another thing you could do, if you have repeat customers who reviewed you awhile ago, is ask a couple of them to write new reviews. They don't get the 15 VIP days, but they might be willing to do it for you as a favor, or maybe you could offer them a discount or other special for taking time to write a new review.
"$X Discount for established TER Reviewers" (those with a decent review history) or something like that is open ended. It can lead to disappointment when you choose to discontinue the promo. It can also DELAY someone from pulling the trigger: "No urgency there, I'll schedule with her next month." . Put a time limit in there: "October Special: write a review and get $X off your second meeting" "November Special: write a review and get $X off your second meeting" and so on until you've reached your goal. . The specific promo cannot be a quid pro quo for a GOOD review. The "2nd meeting" promo might not be a good one. If someone has a bad time and writes a bad review they won't want to see you again anyway. . One other thought: NGBE mentioned that previous reviewers can submit another review. In the past, their old review would be deleted and replaced with the new one. The new policy is that the old review remains and the new review posts, as well.
I have clients won't write the reviews because scared its illegal business and don't want to tell world pay for prostitutes. Reviews pieces of evidence for paying for illegal business.
So why are you warning against reviews here? Especially when you attach your ad for your "illegal service?" If you are advertising an illegal service, why would you worry about a review that is done by an anonymous, untraceable handle? Thus you warning makes no sense. What a shock.
