all of us moderators have been relieved of our duties.  Admin has decided to take a new direction, whatever it may be.  We all got a PM a few minutes ago telling us about it.

Just to let you know, it's been a pleasure to moderate this board.  I have learned a lot myself, and I hope that some of you learned a little from me as well.  Thanks to all the vets who voluntarily assisted me with their responses, you were a great help, filling in with replies when I could not.

I just saw the notice in my regional board.  I hope that you will stay around, but if you feel you need to leave, I understand that as well.  Thanks for being a great moderator and for keeping the newbie board kind, welcoming, and friendly.

The newbie board is the one that really needs to have a mod on it. Having one steady voice to help the newbies out is a big comfort. I always appreciated the effort you put into the first response to a newbies question or post. You were a very solid rock for people to come to for information, whether they were newbies or old pros. I learned a lot from this board and hope to keep learning from it. Thanks for everything you did here.

I don't agree with the changes, and I think the worst part about it, is the way they have gone about it with no warning and the way they pulled the plug on the mods. I have enjoyed you as a mod, and think you did a great job. I feel I got to know you a little better through our PMs just the other day.

Removing a good mod from the one board where "play nice" was already the rule is idiotic.

many hours here trying to give back to this hobby which has given me so much enjoyment.  Not sure I want to continue any longer.  

Ladies, thank you for making us guys feel special, even it it is only for an hour or two.

I really do appreciate all the thanks given to me today.  I will be watching this board closely, and will still try to offer answers to your questions.  Right now, I, like the other ex-mods, am under moderation, so my posts will not appear right away.  I guess they don't trust us to be non-inflammatory.  Rest assured, that is not my style.  While I do not like what they have done to us, Im not gonna start a shitstorm about it.  

My personal opinion is that this board needs a mod probably more than any other board.  But, it's not my decision, so I will  go with the flow, so to speak.  I ask you vets that have helped me with your responses to please continue to do so.  These newb's sometimes really need some guidance.......
