OK, so I saw an ad on eros, and eros is a mixed bag, as most of us know. There are scams on there, but there are also plenty of providers on there who are on here and who are with legit verification services.  

I saw a very attractive provider on there, at least according to her pictures, who says she screens, but then, I look for her rates, and she doesn't even have them listed.  Does this increase the likelihood that this is a scam? Law enforcement?  

What do you guys think?

Mrfisher, thanks for the insight and the wisdom, especially concerning the no rates possibly meaning upsell.  Unfortunately, on Eros, I can't copy the image address into tin eye.  Regardless, the likelihood of an upsell is enough to scare me away.

especially if there are no rates.  That's always an ivitation to some kind of upsell situation.

You can do one further check and do a Tin Eye search of the photos to see if they are stolen.

That would be game, set and match.

While I agree it is a risk, if none of us TOFTT on occasion we will never get new talent.  Of course you or me do not need to be stupid either.  I do not jump on brand new adds.  I will check tin eye.  I will call and get general info, rates, rules, general location.  If I get a bad vibe or they do not give me the info I ask I move on.  I still will be nervous as hell knowing I am TOFTT, but I feel it is needed. I have been lucky I guess.

If so then her information will be there. This doesn't necessarily mean its a scam.

Every provider has their own way of marketing and business details.

I sometimes TOFTT but I would NEVER suggest that to a newbie.

You've got an ad...  no way to verify any of it...  what the ad says or if the pictures are really her or currant.  So you KNOW NOTHING for sure.  She doesn't even have her own web site which would mean she's at least serious...  perhaps less likely to be fake.

Mr Newbie, there are way too many scams to list...   The whole point of TER, is to give you enough information to base a decision on.  The TER profile, confirms that she delivered as promised & looks like her pictures.  The reviews give more detail & should be read carefully for hints.  

I'm not saying to never see her but you should circle back when you have more experience & by then she will have reviews if she is legit.
